Bollywood Actress Asin is the first film star from Kollywood in 30 years, to have set foot in Jaffna and Vavuniya which was once dominated by the LTTE. Asin is in Sri Lanka for the last two weeks, shooting for her Hindi film Ready with Salman Khan. She wanted to do something to help the Tamil population of these areas, and thus came up with the idea of a medical camp along with Salman’s ‘Being Human Foundation’. Actress Asin along with ‘Being Human Foundation’ flew down five eye surgeons with 1000 eye lenses, after care medication and even the technical equipment required for the operations from India, in order to ensure the smooth success of the Eye Care Camps. Director Farah Khan confirmed the new stating, “Katrina Kaif is going to do an item song in ‘Tees Maar Khan. I’m going to keep a belly dancer teacher for her. She is actually going to learn belly dancing. So, you will see her in a new very glamorous avatar.” She adds, “I’ve had a very good experience working with her. Rahul Dholakia’s Upcoming Bollywood film Lamhaa is making news these days. The story is based on the turmoil in the Kashmir valley. What actually is making news is that, there is a dialogue that apparently mocks Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai. In one scene, Actor Anupam Kher who plays a Kashmiri separatist leader says: “When Aishwarya Rai is unable to see the moon it makes news. But why don’t the media report the plight of those thousands of Kashmiri wives who haven’t seen their husbands for years?” However, this dialogue isn’t made up. It was actually spoken by a Kashmir leader referring to the long-lasting unrest in the valley. Also, the director and the main actors were a bit scared about the Bachchan’s reaction to this dialogue. But, Amitabh Bachchan responded positively to the scene.
