Konkona, Raima, Mahi in India’s first ‘unashamedly lusty film’

Movie ‘Godmother’ director, Vinay Shukla is ready with India’s first film in the erotic genre, Mirch. With talented actresses like Konkona Sen Sharma, Mahi Gill, Shahana Goswami and Raima Sen, in the flick, Vinay describes Mirchi as a serious sex comedy. He also says, “Mirch is India’s first film in the erotic genre”. It is not a slapstick like many other Bollywood films on adultery. Its humour is more about wit and intelligence. The actors are seen kissing, sharing the same bed and even massaging. There is a scene similar to the one in Titanic, but in Mirch, the hero does body paint literally. As if that’s not enough, the heroine goes topless in one of the scenes. Releasing on December 10, Mirch is a story of a scriptwriter played by Shreyas Talpade.
