New Delhi, Aug 12 (PTI) NDTV's entertainment venture NDTV Imagine today announced the launch of its channel 'Imagine Showbiz' which would focus on Bollywood and entertainment segment. The 24-hour channel would go on air on August 15 and it is a joint venture company between NDTV Imagine and advertisement firm Cinestar Advertising, NDTV said in a statement. "Imagine Showbiz has been created with the aim to deliver unique content in an engaging manner that will not only touch the heart of every Bollywood fan but also find appeal with the film industry as well," NDTV Imagine Executive Vice President for Revenue Management and New Ventures Harsh Rohatgi said. He said the company wants to capitalise on the Indian entertainment sector which grew by 17 per cent last year. The new channel would showcase updates and coverage of the latest happenings, besides presenting features and presentations on Bollywood and peoples and products associated with the Mumbai film industry
