Ferrari Ki Sawaari Kareena or Katrina ?

Bollywood Actor Sharman Joshi is all set to start shooting under the direction of debutant Rajesh Mapuskar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next production, Ferrari Ki Sawaari. But the toughest question is who will play his leading lady. It is learnt that the filmmakers are considering either Kareena Kapoor or Katrina Kaif to play the lead. Interestingly, the female lead’s role was completely absent in the film’s initial drafts. Hirani introduced the role when he took over the scripting of the movie. “Raju was in the process of scripting his next when Vinod asked him to write Ferrari Ki Sawaari. While writing this film, he came up with Joshi’s wife’s character, which is pivotal to the storyline,” reveals a source. Katrina Mapuskar suggested casting Kaif as the wife whose character features in the flashback sequence, in black-and-white. “Rajesh is keen on Katrina as he feels she will look like the leading ladies in the era of black-and-white cinema,” explains a source. Sharman Joshi, who will reunite with 'Rang De Basanti' co-star Aamir Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming venture 'Three Idiots', says working with the superstar "is purely a treat." "Working with Aamir all over again is truly a treat. He is a superb actor. We had a great time working in 'Rang De Basanti' and in this film we have kind of taken up from where we left off," Sharman told IANS in an interview. "We had lots of fun, on and off the sets of 'Three Idiots'. It's kind of a reunion since R. Madhavan who was with us in 'Rang De...' is also a part of the film," he added. The film, which is loosely based on Chetan Bhagat's bestseller "Five Point Someone", is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and stars Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani also in pivotal roles. Sharman Joshi says Sorry Bhai

After playing a call centre employee in Hello , Sharman Joshi is on to some betrayal as he falls for his brother’s fiancé in Sorry Bhai . The film is being directed by My Brother Nikhil director, Onir. Says Sharman, “I am playing Siddharth Mathur in the film. He is a young scientist. He is pretty much satisfied with life. He has a small world of his own consisting of his parents and elder brother. He works with a lot of passion and also loves travelling.” So what made Sharman say yes to the film? “The plot of the film is very unique which says to fall in your brother’s fiancé. It is told in a very gentle and sensitive fashion which attracted me to do the film.” So does Sharman miss being part of Golmaal Returns ? “Yes, I wanted to be a part of Golmaal Returns . Unfortunately because of date problems it did not work out. It was my fault. What to do now?”
