Bollywood Director Siddharth Malhotra, talking about his latest upcoming flick, We Are Family, says that though they have purchased the official rights of Hollywood movie Stepmom, the film is an adaptation and not a remake. The story is about Maya( Kajol) who is the perfect mother. Her life revolves around her three childeren, Aleya ( Aachal Munjal ), Ankush ( Nominath Ginsberg ), and Anjali ( Diya Sonecha ). Despite being divorced from her husband, Aman ( Arjun Rampal ), Maya ensures that everything runs smoothly in her house, under her watch, and that they continue to remain a happy family. However, when Aman introduces his girlfriend, Shreya ( Kareena Kapoor ), a career oriented woman, to the family, the entire situation takes an unexpected turn. Bollywood Hunk, Actor Arjun Rampal, is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘We Are Family’, in which he stars opposite Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. In the flick, ctor Arjun Rampal is seen playing the role of a man torn between his ex-wife, played by Kajol, and his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor. “It was also a pleasure to work with Kajol since I have been a huge fan of her.” says Rampal, adding that he finds himself fortunate to share screen space with her. In spite of the reports that the collections of My Name is Khan featuring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol devgan have dipped after the release weekend, it is continuing to rake in revenue big time. Believe it or not, it has already earned Rs.174.60 crore worldwide and still counting . Film distributors said that My Name is Khan grossed Rs.102.2 in Indian alone and Rs.72.4 crore from abroad, which is an all time high for a Hindi film at the international market. It earned USD 3.3 million in the Middle East, which is the highest for a Bollywood film . The collections are nearly on par with Hollywood biggies like Dark Knight, Transformers 2, Spider Man 3 and Twilight: New Moon. Vijay Singh of Fox Studios said that the revenue is expected to shoot up when it hits the screens in countries like Jordan, Lebanon and Syria on March 10. He added that it is spreading to other markets and even crossed over to non-diaspora audiences. It has increased from six to 14 screens even in Indonesia.

Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan said enacting the character of an autistic person in My Name is Khan was a challenge for him. "I think it is a very new and difficult concept. I play Rizwan Khan, a person suffering from autism. I prepared well for the role. I hope I have done well." "Of course, I have taken some cinematic liberties with it," he added. The cast and crew of Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan is back from San Francisco and according to sources, the next schedule of the film is most likely to take place at Film City. A huge set is being constructed at Josh Maidain, Film City. A dam, which measures around three feet in depth and 135 x 240 meter in size, is being constructed inside which a church and some small houses are going to be constructed. According to the source, plans are to shoot a hurricane scene where they will be showing the church n houses submerged in water.
