A sequel to Pyaar Ke Side Effects is finally finalized. The film is titled Shaadi Ke Side Effects. Farhan Akhtar will be replacing Rahul Bose, while Vidya Balan takes the place of Mallika Sherawat. The producer of the film Pritish Nandy says that it is a funny, clever, wild film, potraying love, before and after marriage. The sequel will be directed by Saket Choudhary, music for the film will be by Pritam. The film will also mark Farhan Akhtar’s first rom-com. He is very excited to work with Vidya Balan. Vidya Balan is excited too, about the film as she loved the original one. She said, “Saket’s observation of relationships is simple and that makes it naturally and perhaps sometimes even unintentionally funny, mad and sexy.” The release date of Shaadi Ke Side Effects is not confirmed yet.

Farhan Akhtar can cover a distance of 100 metres in just 11.9. World champ Usain Bolt covers the same distance in 9.58 seconds. Farhan is not very far from him. Farhan Akhtar has been working very hard to fit the role of the flying Singh, Milkha Singh. The director of the film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is very happy with all the hard work Farhan is putting in. He said, “Farhan has been getting better with every race. His level of discipline is commendable.” Farhan, has been working out for his role from quite sometime now. Says a source, “After working for a few months, he started coaching with Milkha Singh’s actual coach from Firozpur.” Another source revealed how Farhan runs exactly like a professional athlete. “He is doing complete justice to the character of Milkha Singh. Farhan is continuing with the training even in Firozpur, where the shoot is currently going on. He even spent a few days with Milkha Singh to take pointers.”

Bollywood Actor Farhan Akhtar the current host of chat show Oye! It’s Friday will soon be shown the door, as the show is not having a good run. Apparently the NDTV Imagine bosses are keen to replace Farhan Akhtar, their first choice was coffee man Karan Johar who turned down the offer because of his directorial commitments. A source says, “It’s a new format and it’s Farhan Akhtar’s first time on TV, so we expected it to pick up slowly but it doesn’t seem to be working.” The production house also blames Farhan Akhtar’s non-availability of dates for shooting, “The production people have to constantly keep running after him to secure dates. There’s an understanding that he won’t be able to shoot when he has to promote his films or work on new projects.”
