Well, this item song is for her film “Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi”. This film also marks Farah’s acting debut. Farah Khan tweeted: “Have woken up 1 hour earlier than alarm in xcitemnt. ‘Joker’ ad out n I’m shootng an item song 4 ‘Shirin Farhad…’ bt this time I’m dancing! surreal.” So, what’s “Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi” all about? Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan is in full mood to mend fences with Abhishek Bachchan. All thanks to Farah Khan’s next film Happy New Year. By the way, Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek were never foes. They were never friends either. It was because of Aishwarya Rai walking out of from the film Chalte Chalte, hat caused the strained equation between Shahrukh Khan and the Bachchans. Also, Shahrukh Khan not being invited to Abh-Ash’s wedding in 2007, made matters worse. Farah Khan is now planning to get the two stars together in her forthcoming film Happy New Year. This will be the second time Khan and Bachchan will be sharing screen space together after Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna a few years ago. The leading ladies of the two stars are yet to be finalized. The film will also have Boman Irani essaying a special role. Happy New Year is likely to go on the floors in the second half of 2012.

She has said that as of now only Shah Rukh Khan and she are in the movie. She also said that she does not finalise anyone except Shah Rukh Khan before the entire scripting is done. The movie is still in the scripting stage and is expected to go on floors later this year. Farah will re-start the work on “Happy New Year” once she is finished with the schedules of her chat show “Tere Mere Beach Mein”. Choreographer hasn’t been informed by Roshans Post the birth of her triplets, Farah Khan rarely choreographs a song. Lack of time is one of the main reasons, though she does make an exception for friends. She choreographed songs in “Billu” and “Dostana”, exceptions she made for close friends Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar, who produced the two films respectively. The only other song she has choreographed recently is for the Hrithik Roshan starrer “Kites”, produced by Rakesh Roshan. The sensuous song, which is a salsa number, took two and a half days to complete. However, according to reports, the song has been chopped from the film.
