Salman Khan advices Paresh Rawal

Bollywood Actors Salman Khan, Asin, Paresh Rawal and other unit members were shooting for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Ready’ in Sri Lanka. This was when Paresh Rawal got the news that his mother had expired in India. Paresh broke down on the sets. When the crew members asked the vetern actor to return home to perfom his mother’s last rites, Paresh was adamant that he would complete the shooting per schedule and then return for the last rites. When Salman Khan came to know about this, he quickly met Paresh Rawal and asked him to return to India. He explained they would be able to complete the scenes between himself and Asin in the meantime. Paresh Rawal finally heeded Salman Khan’s advice and headed back to India. ‘It just doesn’t get funnier than this’

Ever since Neeraj Vohra snatched the joy out of his hands by directing his three favourite stars — Akshay Kumar , Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal — in Phir Hera Pheri, the director has been waiting to bring the hit team together. Now, nine years after Priyadarshan made that laugh-a-riot Hera Pheri in 2000, he’s managed to pull it off for Ratan Jain’s De Dhana Dhan. “I’ve made a funny film... it is for the audience to patronise it now,” said Priyan who reportedly worked like a man possessed to cast the three actors together again. But coming together wasn’t a simple journey for the foursome. And a lot has changed since. Akshay has turned into a superstar capable of carrying a film on his own shoulders. Priyadarshan is one of the busiest directors of the industry giving one hit after the other. And, Suniel and Akshay were reportedly having a tiff. They came close to working together in Singh Is Kinng but at the last hour Suniel withdrew and Sonu Sood was taken in his place. “It was not ea

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan-starrer 'Rann' renamed 'India 24x7'

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan ’s next film with director Ram Gopal Varma has been retitled ‘India 24x7’. The maverick filmmaker attempts to bring forth the pros and cons of media in his next film which was previously titled Rann , meaning battle. In it Mr. Bachchan plays the owner of a TV channel named India 24x7. The name has been sticking with everyone on the sets so much that ‘Rann’ has been dropped as the title and ‘India 24x7’ chosen in its place. “The title is no longer ‘Rann’, as in a battle or a war, but India 24x7,” Bachchan wrote on his blog. Big B began shooting the film on April 2 and the very first day of the shoot had the superstar delivering a long rousing speech. The monologue, written by Rohit Banwalikar, had Mr. Bachchan’s character Harshvardhan Malik making an emotional plea against communal and religious violence. In fact, the speech roused Big B’s interest and he made his own additions to it. Besides Bachchan, the movie also stars Ritesh Deshmukh , Paresh Rawal , Gul

One Two Three Movie Review

Did you ever see the comedy serial Office Office, yeah the same comedy serial who consecutively won the award for best comedy sitcom year after year. What happens when the person behind Office Office comes out with his first directorial debut movie. You expect a blast, but then Ashwani Dhir’s One Two Three not only blasts but also buries your expectations. While going out for One Two Three, keep in mind to open up your head, squeeze out your brain and stuff some hay into your empty head, because for the next three hours what you see is complete nonsense. The dialogues are good, the lifted witty one-liners were ok but the script lacked the punch.
