Farhan Akhtar on Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Farhan Akhtar can cover a distance of 100 metres in just 11.9. World champ Usain Bolt covers the same distance in 9.58 seconds. Farhan is not very far from him.

Farhan Akhtar has been working very hard to fit the role of the flying Singh, Milkha Singh. The director of the film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is very happy with all the hard work Farhan is putting in. He said, “Farhan has been getting better with every race. His level of discipline is commendable.”

Farhan, has been working out for his role from quite sometime now. Says a source, “After working for a few months, he started coaching with Milkha Singh’s actual coach from Firozpur.”

Another source revealed how Farhan runs exactly like a professional athlete. “He is doing complete justice to the character of Milkha Singh. Farhan is continuing with the training even in Firozpur, where the shoot is currently going on. He even spent a few days with Milkha Singh to take pointers.”

'I have no heartfelt desire to work with SRK’: Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor maintains he never said he was desperate to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, but admitted he would love to work with the superstar if a good project came his way. “I had no such dil ki tamanna (heartfelt desire) to work with Shah Rukh sir. But I respect him a lot. I am a big fan of him,” Ranbir told reporters on the margins of the HT Leadership Summit here Friday. The 28-year-old, who was here with his father, evergreen star Rishi Kapoor, says a superstar’s presence in a project isn’t reason enough for him to accept it. “It’s not that if a superstar will be there in a film, I’ll agree to do it. But if I like a film, I like its script, I would be more than glad to do it,” he added. Nevertheless, Ranbir enjoys the attention he gets from the youth.
