Ferrari Ki Sawaari Kareena or Katrina ?

Bollywood Actor Sharman Joshi is all set to start shooting under the direction of debutant Rajesh Mapuskar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next production, Ferrari Ki Sawaari. But the toughest question is who will play his leading lady. It is learnt that the filmmakers are considering either Kareena Kapoor or Katrina Kaif to play the lead.

Interestingly, the female lead’s role was completely absent in the film’s initial drafts. Hirani introduced the role when he took over the scripting of the movie. “Raju was in the process of scripting his next when Vinod asked him to write Ferrari Ki Sawaari. While writing this film, he came up with Joshi’s wife’s character, which is pivotal to the storyline,” reveals a source.

Katrina Mapuskar suggested casting Kaif as the wife whose character features in the flashback sequence, in black-and-white. “Rajesh is keen on Katrina as he feels she will look like the leading ladies in the era of black-and-white cinema,” explains a source.

On the other hand, Hirani and Chopra were considering Kapoor as she has done a scene in 3 Idiots with R Madhavan and Joshi, who unite her with their long-lost friend Rancho, played by Aamir Khan.

Kapoor declined to comment saying she hasn’t yet been approached for the role. “I had a wonderful time working in 3 Idiots. And apart from Aamir, Raju and Vinod, I also got along fabulously with Sharman and Madhavan,” she adds.

Chopra says that it is still too early to know who will be cast as Joshi’s wife in the movie. “We have already seen Sharman and Kareena in 3 Idiots and everyone loved them in the movie. In another few days, we’ll take the final call on the casting for this role,” he says.

Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini In Dil Bole Hadippa Believe it or not, but the whole ‘bikini top ‘n’ skimpy shorts’ avatar in short — flaunting Rani Mukerji’s hot new bod wasn’t her idea. Not even the producer or director had anything to do with it. After she realised how much she had toned up (to play a male cricketer in Dil Bole Hadippa!), Rani just happened to discuss this idea with her designer friend Manish Malhotra. And from there on it was Manish’s game plan, after all, he’s transformed many a Bollywood girl in to glam queens. He suggested that it would be a pity to waste such a well-toned body by not showing it off. That’s how the idea of a special song was born. And is she looking hot? Talk about her ‘shapely’ success, and Rani says, “Believe me, I didn’t starve at all. I love my food, especially rice and sweets. There was no way I was giving up all that. So, I just worked out harder and was occasionally allowed my ‘cheat’ meals of rice, sweets, etc. ...

Director: Anurag Basu Writer: Anurag Basu Stars: Priyanka Chopra, Ileana and Ranbir Kapoor  Genres: Drama | Mystery | Thriller Country: India Language: Hindi Release Date: 14 September 2012 (India) Movie Review Silences rarely talked so gracefully. It's been a while considering that we saw a movie that set design at a additional condition to material, put the characters' inner lifestyle before elaborate symptoms of self-identity in a globe controlled by benevolence and appeal. Barfi! is a very sensational movie. It's extremely without mirror. The tale of a deaf-and-mute man who could have started up viewing Chaplin and Raj Kapoor's movies, and an autistic lady who has definitely not seen Shah Rukh Khan in My Name Is Khan, is informed without the items of a noisy songs and other prompters to get audiences' engaged in t...
