Hrithik Roshan's much-awaited flick will release worldwide on December 18 After much hoopla and indecision, it's finally official. Anurag Basu's Kites will release on December 18. And no, the film was not delayed due to editing issues. Rather, it was waiting for international buyers. Says a source, "Now that there's a slump in the international market, Kites won't wait for international buyers any longer. The producers will give the film on a commission basis to international distributors." The decision to release Kites on December 18 was taken after watching the film's final cut. Post-editing, the film is apparently an erotic feast. The love scenes between Hrithik and Mori are sizzling and the producers have nothing to worry about. The much-talked about Hrithik Roshan starrer "Kites" is scheduled for December release and producer Rakesh Roshan and director Anurag Basu have also agreed on how different the English and Hindi versions of the film would be. The supposed steamy scenes between Hrithik and his co-star Barbara Mori would be the same in both versions. "We can't cheat Hindi audiences. The so-called steamy scenes will be the same in both versions. The visuals will remain unchanged in both. There won't be anything radically different in the two versions because Hrithik and Barbara speak English-Hindi and Spanish, respectively in both English and Hindi," Basu told IANS. According to sources, while she was shooting in Finland for “Kites”, she met some casting agents from a company based in Los Angeles. They were impressed with Kangana's screen presence and wanted to see some of her work. Without wasting a minute, Kangana called for the DVDs of her movies and gave it to them. And, seems it paid off. Kangana has been called a screen test for a movie that will have “Friends” star Mathew Perry in it. Even though she will not be cast opposite Perry, it is a pretty substantial role. Once Upon a Time in Mumbai could possibly be Kangana Ranaut’s magnum opus as she is slated to star as the veteran actress Madhubala who was also Haji Mastan’s love interest. The film deals with the real story of the underworld don of the 1960’s, Haji Mastan. Once Upon a Time in Mumbai will be produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji films and directed by Milan Luthria. We’ve seen it in back then in Sadak, Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin, Raaz, Inteha, Paap, then Kalyug, Gangster, Awarapann, Woh Lamhe, and Jannat recently. When the music of RaazTMC released people expected a chartbuster album from the Bhatts again… only to be disappointed. Too many cooks spoil the broth, the same way too many music directors spoiled the album. Wonder why the Bhatts did not give the whole album to our good old Pritam instead of Raju Singh, Toshi-Sharib, Pranay and Gaurav Das. There are 5 tracks in the album and 2 are remixes. Toshi Saberi’s Mahi Ve and Banda Re are the only two attractive songs of the album. Mahi Ve is already up the charts. All the other tracks on the album are average and very forgettable.
