Actress Pretty Preity is all set to expose the lesser known side of Salman. The bubbly queen will also share about her having a solid crush on her star friend and that how she went to watch Dabangg, dressed in a burka. Salman was a sport too. Bollywood Rock Star Salman Khan is in midst of a controversy post his bodyguards beating up the supporters of Anna Hazare. According to sources, Salman Khan was returning from an event, in Kanpur, when activists of ‘India Against Corruption’ approached the Rock star to lend his support to the cause. However, the members of the Jan Rajya Party (Anna hazare’s allies) were in for a rude shock when they were manhandled by the bodyguards of Salman. Deepak Bharat, an activist and Jan Rajya Party, told a news daily: “His (Salman’s) bodyguards hit us as soon as we moved near his vehicle. We just wanted to present him with Anna topis.” A police complaint against Salman Khan has been filed by the activists. Salman Khan is one busy man, these days, promoting his next film Bodyguard which releases on August 31.

It was an impromptu party held at Salman Khan’s temporary house in Film City where he is shooting for Bodyguard. Though the Pune team lost the match to Chennai but it didn’t dampen Salman’s spirit to treat the young cricketers. A source says, “Salman is very close to Subrata Roy of Sahara Group who owns the team and his sister Arpita Khan is a close pal of the captain of Pune team, Yuvraj Singh. Salman hosted the party jointly with his buddy Baba Dewan.” Giving out details of the menu, the source adds, “Salman had specially arranged Mughlai cuisine for the young men in black and the booze was free-flowing.” The guest list included friend like Kangna Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Zarine Khan, Farah Khan, Shirish Kunder.

The Rock Star of Bollywood Salman Khan went unrecognized in crowded Colaba in Mumbai, while shooting Bodyguard last week. It happened during a guerrilla shoot using hidden cameras atop buildings. No one realized Salman was on the streets filming as the cameras whirred silently, neither the public, nor the press.. According to a source, “The shot required Salman to follow a female character but the most interesting part was Salman went completely unnoticed, It was a series of quick shots. There are a lot of shops in that area and many tourists also frequent the place everyday in thousands yet no one recognized Salman as he whizzed past them!” Aamir Khan had pulled off a similar guerrilla shoot during the filming of Dhobi Ghat last year, when he shot during the holy month of Ramzan in the crowded and predominantly Muslim locality of Bhendi Bazaar in South Mumbai.

Bollywood Rock Star Salman Khan insisted on adapting Ringa Ringa a hit Telugu song from Arya 2 and transformed it to Dhinka Chika for his upcoming movie. Not just that, he was unhappy with the lyrics of the Hindi film’s song and asked them to be changed. A source revealed, “Salman always gets what he wants. He has a great rapport with the Ready producer Bhushan Kumar. He rang him up saying the song needs new lyrics. In fact he refused to shoot for the song until they came up with better lyrics. Since they were on an outdoor shoot in Bangkok, the crew went ahead and shot the song nonetheless.” Salman Khan sat with Devi Sri Prasad, the composer of the original Telugu track and came up with new lyrics. Buzz is that the actor bore the entire expenses of re-shooting the complete song with new lyrics. “He wants Dhinka Chika to be the song of 2011. It already has the potential to be a huge chart-buster. Hence Salman got new lyrics penned and re-recorded the whole song,” the source added

Bollywood Dabangg Actor Salman Khan’s upcoming film Ready sees him acting in his typical Dabangg style and the filmmakers admit that they are trying to cash in on the superstar’s image of Chulbul Pandey which made fans go gaga over him. “We are taking advantage of Dabangg behind Ready. We are not even trying to hide that and are in fact reflecting it in the promos as well,” Co-producer of Ready, Bhushan Kumar said. Salman Khan too wanted the promos of Ready to convey the Dabangg image. The film has many similarities with Dabangg with respect to Salman’s body language, dialogues and his mannerisms. It is also heard that the marketing and publicity formula of Ready is along the same lines as that of Dabangg. Kumar also justified the focus on Salman Khan in the film’s promos. They have intentionally put the promos on Salman Khan’s shoulders. The film stars Salman Khan and Asin in the lead roles.
