It seems to be the week of controversies. The latest buzz doing the rounds in B-Town is that Salman Khan recently ignored his co-star Asin in full public glare. The story goes that the two stars were in for a media meet and Asin who wanted to meet Salman Khan was openly ignored by the actor who even refused to acknowledge her presence. Though Asin and Salman got along pretty well during the shoot of their film LONDON DREAMS, it seems Salman decided to keep a safe distance from Asin after rumours of the two getting close started doing the rounds. Well, whatever be the reason, Salman's open snub has left Asin fuming. Now, what remains to be seen is how the equation between the two stars shapes up in the coming time.

After keeping silent for a while, South Indian beauty Asin Thottumkal has surfaced again with her second Bollywood film London Dreams getting ready for release on 30th October. This time, Asin Thottumkal speaks on her relationship with actor Salman Khan. Asin Thottumkal said that she shares a professional relationship with Salman Khan. She clarified that it's a very friendly professional relationship and not a robotic one. She went on to say that they are very comfortable with each other and would promote for the film together. But what about her alleged affair with him? She said that it's a complete rumours. She added that the news of her tiff with him is also not true.

Sources say that Asin Thottumkal was admitted because she was suffering from severe exhaustion, just like Priyanka Chopra while some other sources counter that claim by saying that she was admitted because she has been neglecting her sinus condition for a while. Her condition deteriorated because London Dreams had several night schedules and it was cold. Even during the shooting, she would be bundled in jackets in between shots. ‘Even while she was being treated for her sinus problem, nothing could bring Asin Thottumkal’s spirits down. It also helps that the atmosphere in the hospital is very bright and lively, unlike other hospitals which tend to get depressing. She was happily talking to the nurses and singing some songs as she was undergoing her treatement. Salman Khan - Ajay Devgan steal limelight Now that the first promo of Vipul’s Shah’s “London Dreams” has been released, leading lady Asin is said to be not too happy with the very small footage that she has got in the trailer. While Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan feature prominently in the promo, Asin has just one shot, which is a bit disappointing considering how big a hit was “Ghajini”, her debut Hindi film and she has a lot of expectations from “London Dreams”, her second Bollywood release. Asin apparently has raised her voice against this and has directly spoken to director Vipul Shah. According to sources, Asin went and met Vipul and voiced her displeasure against the first theatrical promos. Vipul told her that since it is a story about two friends, Salman and Ajay have been shown prominently. He also tried to convince her that she is an important part of the film and the rest of the promos will feature her prominently. But Asin reportedly was way far from being convinced.

Actress Asin Thottumkal has been shooting in places like Paris and London for her next film, but the actress wants to holiday in her hometown. “I had promised myself that after Gajini, I would take a break. However, London Dreams began almost immediately. Though London and Paris are absolutely stunning places, there’s no place like Kerala. If I do get a break, I’d like to go back home for a holiday,” she says. Not just that the actress feels that with such different climates there’s no better country that one can holiday at. “I’d love to explore the lovely places in our country before venturing out elsewhere,” she adds.

How difficult was it for daddy’s daughter to work independently after her father was hospitalised? It wasn’t very difficult. My dad was never a baby-sitter on the sets. Between us, it’s a client-and-manager kind of a relationship. Since I don’t have a manager or a secretary, my father plays a three-in-one role. Recently, I went to Bangalore to launch the Bangalore Food Guide. I called him up at one in the morning to just wish him good night. Even then, his phone was engaged! My work-related issues had been keeping him busy so late in the night. Now, there is somebody to accompany me in his place. The only difference is, since this person is doing a professional job, the personal touch of having my father around, is missing. Do you have your parents accompany you while shooting? My mother, who is a doctor, has opted for VRS. My father isn’t there to stare into the monitor as I shoot. He sees to it that everything is organised, and then leaves. Bollywood Actor Aamir Khan’s magnum opus Ghajini that became the most successful film in the history of Indian cinema has now taken over our neighbouring country Pakistan with the same force. Recently, after the rift with India, Pakistan decided ban the release of Indian films. But they recalled their ban and paved way for the release of Ghajini. And Ghajini is doing tremendously well in Pakistan. The film is running housefull in major cities like Lahore and Karachi. Bollywood Actress Asin Thottumkal, who made her Bollywood debut with the most commercially successful film of Bollywood is flying high after she got the Screen award for the most promising female debut in a Hindi film. She however, has her feet placed firmly on the ground as she says the script matters most to her and she signs a film only if she likes the narrative. “I have no particular choice of role in a film, but in the order of preference, I first see the script, followed by the role, director, banner and then the co-star,” Asin told IANS. The south Indian actress, who will next be seen in Vipul Shah’s “London Dreams” along with Ajay Devgan and Salman Khan, said that since language has never been a criterion for her, she is “open to do a variety of films”.

Katrina Kaif has specially flown to Chandigarh to be with boyfriend Salman Khan where he is shooting for London Dreams with Ajay Devgan and Asin. Katrina Kaif previously visited Salman Khan when he was shooting for Veer with Zarine Khan and now she is with him in Chandigarh. According to rumors Katrina is keeping an eye on Salman whenever he is shooting with female co-stars. A source says, “Of course, why else would she fly off to Chandigarh on the day when Asin is scheduled to shoot there?” The source adds, “Asin started shooting on Monday when Katrina too reached the sets to accompany Salman. Katrina is expected to stay there for a short period.” Director, Vipul Shah also confirmed the news, “Yes, I’m aware that Katrina Kaif has come to Chandigarh.”

No debutante could have had a better debut than actress Asin. She was a renowned actress down south and she got a chance to make a debut opposite the great Aamir Khan. Ghajini is the biggest hit of the year and Asin is flooded with Bollywood offers… Lucky isn’t it! Thats what she feels. “I was approached for ‘London Dreams’ while I was shooting for ‘Ghajini’. I don’t know how they found out about me. I have just finished a long schedule of shooting the film abroad and some of it is still left. “But I feel I have received a very warm welcome to Bollywood. Both my initial projects are with good banners, actors and filmmakers. I feel lucky and blessed,” she told IANS.

Rumors are abuzz that the 'Ghajini' starring Aamir Khan and Asin Thottumkal might be banned to be screened in Tamilnadu. Producer Salem A. Chandrasekaran has appealed in the court to halt Ghajini's release as he has not been compensated for the rights to remake it. He produced 'Ghajini' in Tamil earlier with Surya and Asin. Director AR Murugadoss made the movie which was a super hit in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Later, he came to Bollywood and signed up to direct the movie once again for Hindi. But, the producer of Tamil version complained earlier that he holds the copyrights for the script. He lodged a complaint against the movie and the verdict is now out to ban the movie from being screened in theatres in Tamilnadu . This will be a big loss for the filmmakers and for Asin who has pinned high hopes to reach heights with her first Bollywood venture . Direct-to-Home operator TataSky on Friday announced the appointment of South Indian actor Asin as its brand ambassador, who is yet to make a Bollywood debut in Aamir Khan's forthcoming film Ghajini. Now, Asin who is set to conquer Bollywood with her much awaited release 'Ghajini' opposite Aamir Khan will feature across all Tata Sky brand and product communication including advertisements on TV, print, radio and other mediums, said the company in a press release. TataSky, a joint venture between Tata and media major Star has already signed Aamir Khan earlier July this year. Speaking on it Chief Marketing Officer, Tata Sky Vikram Mehra said Asin would be very influential for the brand of the company. "Tata Sky and Asin have a lot in common. Both are young, energetic, achievers, and both enjoy a high degree of credibility with consumers. As our new face, she will be influential in reinforcing the attributes of the Tata Sky brand and reiterate our positioning,"

Bollywood hottie Salman Khan recently shot the most crucial scene of his upcoming flick London Dreams in Paris, where he proposes his heroine Asin underneath the beautiful Eiffel Tower. Apparently Salman Khan had convinced director Vipul Shah to shoot the scene at the romantic place. When the director-actor duo went to check out Eiffel Tower on Champ de Mar they were in for a surprise as they tower was lit up in blue and gold as France was celebrating their presidency of European Union.
