Humko Deewana Kar Gaye is a 2006 Bollywood film directed by Raj Kanwar, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Raj Kanwar and has Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Bipasha Basu in lead roles, Anil Kapoor and Manoj Joshi also star in the movie in supporting roles.




SYNOPSIS

Aditya (Akshay Kumar), an automobile engineer, is as passionate about cars as Shakespeare was about writing. Not only is he an engineer, he is a test driver for the company. Sonia (Bipasha Basu), a fashion designer about to make her mark. Aditya and Sonia are engaged & found each other not on the same wavelength.Aditya arrives in Canada where his sister Simran (Bhagyashree) is living. Coincidence or destiny makes him bump into Jia (Katrina Kaif) more than once. Jia, daughter of business tycoon Yashwardhan Birla, has come to Canada alone to shop for her wedding with the business giant Karan Oberoi (Anil Kapoor).She had everything she could ask for in her childhood but never time from her ever-so-busy father. And now the man her father has chosen for her hardly had any time to spend with her either. That is when she found a friend in Aditya. Aditya and Jia manage to spend time with each other and, as time passes, the friendship between them grows and turns into love. What happens to this love story. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
