Being a star is better than being an actor - Abhay !

Based on actor Abhay Deol, as being a star is preferable to becoming an actor. He states fame just get you lots of work which means you are recognized in the market.

The actor shared his ideas and sights within the India Today Conclave on “Can You Be considered a Celebrity Without Having To Be an actress?”, Abhay Deol stated: “The fact is that you could be an actress but people have no idea what you are and when you're a star people know only you obtain the next project,” he stated.

“Unfortunately it's all about earning money. It's all about obtaining the right project and also the right platform. Regrettably here, it is best to become a star than an actress. There's no reason in becoming very artistic as a star. You can at any rate focus on your acting as a star,” he added.

The actor also confesses that he's insecure within the Bollywood industry as people here often judge very rapidly.

“It is an extremely insecure industry many people judge in your last film. It's not that certain flop will destroy your job but getting three consecutively, you may see less people hanging out you,” stated Abhay Deol.
