Ek Deewana Tha - Movie Review

Ek Deewana Tha - Movie Review
Ek Deewana Tha starring Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson continues the popularity of South Indian remakes in Bollywood. Aside from the ending that has been tweaked to become crowd-pleasing, the film is really a scene-to-scene copy of Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (starring Simbu and Trisha).

Directed by ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’ director Gautham Menon, who mainly directs Tamil films, Ek Deewana Tha continues to be marketed being an A R Rahman musical. Is there almost anything to offer aside from great music? Continue reading.

Story: It’s love in the beginning sight for Sachin (Prateik), as he first sees Jessie (Amy). She likes him too, but: Jessie includes a strict father who's against love partnerships a tough brother she’s Christian - he’s Hindu she’s twelve months over the age of him. Oh plus they don't want to hightail it and got married either. Perform the enthusiasts finally unite?

Ek Deewana Tha Review

The things that work for Ek Deewana Tha

Regrettably, very little aside from A R Rahman’s music, especially Hosanna - a melodious track that’s placed right in the very start of the film.

Kerala, which is called ‘God’s own country’, continues to be taken superbly.

What doesn’t (the disadvantages)

The issue though begins immediately after Hosanna. The performances ruin the whole experience. Prateik Babbar maintains the identical expression while laughing, crying, dancing, embracing or kissing. He's a Lengthy approach to take being an actor. He was good in Dhobi Ghat, but he’s just completely wooden here. Amy Jackson looks pretty and does well over a couple of moments. Another stars are far too over-the-top and noisy.

While Rahman’s music is nice, more than it drags the film forever. And in comparison to Hosanna, another tracks pale in contrast.

The twists and turns - the kitty and mouse Game between your two enthusiasts - just doesn’t work. Several questions  - how come Jessie back from the wedding in the last moment? If she could watch for four years, why couldn’t she watch for him for 25 days when he’s busy shooting? Along with a city like Mangalore (Karnataka), that has excellent mobile connectivity, is proven among the remotest places in India.

Because of the problematic story and weak performances, your heart doesn’t pine for that enthusiasts on-screen, something that's required for an appreciation story to operate. In the box-office, Ek Deewana Tha is not likely to create any impact. The outlet continues to be poor and going through the crowd reaction, the film ought to be from theaters through the finish each week.

Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini

Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini In Dil Bole Hadippa Believe it or not, but the whole ‘bikini top ‘n’ skimpy shorts’ avatar in short — flaunting Rani Mukerji’s hot new bod wasn’t her idea. Not even the producer or director had anything to do with it. After she realised how much she had toned up (to play a male cricketer in Dil Bole Hadippa!), Rani just happened to discuss this idea with her designer friend Manish Malhotra. And from there on it was Manish’s game plan, after all, he’s transformed many a Bollywood girl in to glam queens. He suggested that it would be a pity to waste such a well-toned body by not showing it off. That’s how the idea of a special song was born. And is she looking hot? Talk about her ‘shapely’ success, and Rani says, “Believe me, I didn’t starve at all. I love my food, especially rice and sweets. There was no way I was giving up all that. So, I just worked out harder and was occasionally allowed my ‘cheat’ meals of rice, sweets, etc.

Bollywood: John Abraham’s Slum Connection

Bollywood New Movie Slumdog Millionaire has definitely made the slums of Mumbai a little popular. Perhaps this is why they are so welcoming to every director who wants to make a film on their lifestyle. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
