Superhero Rajinikanth is unwell

While shooting with his Rana leading lady Depika Padukone, yesterday afternoon, Rajinikanth complained of uneasiness and was rushed to Isabella hospital in Chennai.

A source close to the film told a popular tabloid, “Rajini Sir came to the mahurat on time. But he looked pretty off colour.

He had been unwell since the past two-three days. After some time, he said that he was feeling very uneasy. He was rushed to the hospital. We don’t know who went with him and who didn’t but his wife Lata was with him for sure. In fact, she had come with him for the mahurat.”

The director of Rana, K S Ravikumar said, “We start with Rajini Sir mainly in the London schedule which is still far away. We might have a few scenes with him in June in Chennai, but that would again depend on the dates of other actors.”

Produced by Eros International, Rana is a magnum opus that also stars Sonu Sood in a significant role. Two leading ladies apart from Deepika, are yet to be finalised.

Rajinikanth plays a triple role in the film, which will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu simultaneously sometime next year.
