Priyanka is very upset with Shahid Kapoor

Bollywood Actor Shahid Kapoor is apparently trying to win his ladylove Actress Priyanka Chopra, back once again.

A lot of people from the film industry turned up to wish Shahid Kapoor on his birthday on Saturday. Many leading ladies of his films - including Rani Mukherjee, Anushka Sharma, Genelia D’Souza and Sonam Kapoor - were there. But conspicuous by her absence was Priyanka, who reportedly had a fight with Shahid and then flew to the US.

Shahid and Priyanka’s on-off relationship has been a hot topic recently, but sources close to the couple claim that Shahid doesn’t often express his affection for Priyanka and this ticks her off.

That’s apparently also the reason behind their latest tiff, following which Priyanka packed her bags and left to the US, caring not a hoot to return on his birthday on Saturday.

But we hear that Shahid did try to persuade her to change her mind and return to Mumbai for his birthday bash. He kept trying till the last hour, but when Priyanka did not give up and so Shahid gave up.

However, we are sure that the couple will soon kiss and make up.

Bollywood: John Abraham’s Slum Connection

Bollywood New Movie Slumdog Millionaire has definitely made the slums of Mumbai a little popular. Perhaps this is why they are so welcoming to every director who wants to make a film on their lifestyle. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
