Bollywood Bring on Box office this Christmas, as the much-hyped Movies of the year
Tees Maar Khan and Toonpur Ka Superhero are releasing on the same day(24th December 2010).

Bollywood Director Farah Khan’s film Tees Maar Khan starring the hit pair Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is about robbery. Akshay plays a notorious guy who steals and cheats around without being caught. It is produced by Twinkle Khanna, Shirish Kunder and Ronnie Screwvala with a budget of Rs.50 crore.

Toonpur Ka Superhero featuring Ajay Devgan and Kajol is India’s first live animation film. In the film, Ajay is a superstar but he turns into a superhero, as his children want him to. It is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Krishika Lulla.

Another film titled Isi Life Mein with debutantes Sandeepa Dhar and Akshay Oberoi in the lead is also releasing on the same day but it looks like Tees Maa Khan and Toonpur Ka Superhero will be the main competitors at the box office.

Now, the big question is, which film will win the race - Tees Maar Khan or Toonpur Ka Superhero? Well, it looks like the films will not eat into each other’s revenues, as they belong to different genres.

Bollywood: John Abraham’s Slum Connection

Bollywood New Movie Slumdog Millionaire has definitely made the slums of Mumbai a little popular. Perhaps this is why they are so welcoming to every director who wants to make a film on their lifestyle. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
