High Security 4 Katrina Kaif in Patiala

The whole of Patiala is vying for Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif. Marriage proposals are pouring in thick and fast for the Katrina Kaif as she shoots for Yashraj film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, in Patiala, Punjab.

It is heard that ever since Katrina Kaif stepped in Patiala, hundreds of local Punjabi boys are lining up at hotel Iqbal Inn, where Katrina Kaif is staying, hoping to catch a glimpse of Katrina Kaif and ask for her hand in marriage.

Call it the Namastey London effect, these love smitten boys call her ‘Jasmeet’, Katrina’s reel name from ‘Namastey London’.

Talking to a daily on this amusing incident, Katrina said, “In ‘Namastey London’ I played a girl who comes to Punjab with her parents, looking for a bridegroom. I think these gentlemen take my screen role too seriously. It`s fun as long as the shooting doesn`t get disrupted or I am not intruded upon. These are harmless fans… at least most of them are.”

A few husbands also showed up with shaadi ka joda and shagun ko tohfa.

Though the Patiala police is providing ample security, Katrina’s two protective male co-stars, Imran Khan and Ali Zafar, and the film’s crew remain cautious lest anything untoward happen.
