Bollywood Movie Director Vipul Amrutlal Shah latest movie, Action Replayy may have not really set the cash registers ringing at the box office, yet, the director still has a reason to smile.
Well, the screenplay of the movie has been invited by the Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences (Oscars) to include it in its huge permanent script collection.
The screenplay, written by Vipul Shah and Aatish Kapadia makes its way in the Margaret Herrick library of the Academy. It will be used for research and study purposes by the students of cinema and filmmakers.
Confirms Vipul, “Yes, they have shown a keen interest in preserving the screenplay of Action Replayy. They send out the invites for those films which they need for research purpose. Even earlier, a copy of screenplay of Namastey London was shared with them when they had expressed their desire for that. I am glad that they feel Action Replayy is worthy enough for students of cinema to read and learn.”
The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai and Aditya Roy Kapoor and tells the story of a guy who goes into the past to change the acrimonious wedlock of his parents into a love marriage.
