Will ‘ANJAANA ANJAANI’ Break Road Movies jinx

Bollywood has seen many flicks with stories based on the road and interestingly, all road based movies have done well in India. Take for exa, ple, Ramgopal Varma’s DAUD, Yash Raj’s TASHAN, Abhay Deol’s critically acclaimed ROAD, and the latest KITES (partly based on road) all failed to interest the audience.

Unlike the others, Sajid Nadiadwala’s ANJAANA ANJAANI seems all set to change the Bollywood road based movie flops.

The film stars Bollywood heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor and the hottie Priyanka Chopra. Till date, the stylish rich look of the promos and zingy music, are making the right move in the right direction. ANJAANA ANJAANI is one of the most awaited flick of the year.

Sajid Nadiadwala’s ANJAANA ANJAANI is all set to release in theaters globally on 24th September 2010.

Excerpts from an exclusive interview: Kaminey and Dil Bole Hadippa... are set to hit the screens. Yeah. Their release dates are pretty close to each other. Kaminey will hit the screens this month, while Dil Bole Hadippa is slated for a September release. Both are very different films and I’m excited as well as a little nervous.
