Hrithik Host So You Think You Can Dance (Just Dance)

Bollywood stars are queuing towards the television channels these days and they are also earning a huge amount through this TV ventures. The latest entry in this line is likely to be none other than 'dance king' Hrithik Roshan.

Hrthik, who is more popular for his amazing dancing talent than even his best roles, is likely to host a dance based reality show on Star Plus. For this, the channel is reportedly paying him Rs 2 crore per episode, which is the highest amount ever paid to any celebrity for a TV show. Hrithik will be hosting the Indian version of dance reality show titled 'So You Think You Can Dance' and it will run for 26 episodes.

'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan and 'Shahenshah' Amitabh Bachchan also did not get this big amount for hosting the shows 'Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hain' and 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' respectively.

The industry estimates suggest that Big B was paid Rs 80 lakh per episode of KBC in 2000 and now for the upcoming season, Sony TV is paying around Rs 1.5 crore per episode to Mr. Bachchan. On the other hand, Shah Rukh was paid around Rs 1 crore per episode for 'Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hain'.

Another Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is going to earn between Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 1.5 crore per episode for his upcoming TV show 'Master Chef'. Salman Khan is also being paid around Rs 1.2 crore per episode for hosting 'Bigg Boss'.

On the other hand, a female actress like Priyanka Chopra, who is the host of 'Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 3', is getting about Rs. 60 lakh per episode.

Star Plus is planning to launch this dance reality show in January 2011 before the ICC World Cup.

Bollywood’s next big jodi – Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone!

Bollywood’s most gorgeous debutante of 2007 will be seen pairing with Akshay Kumar in 2008. With her first film – Om Shanti Om – Deepika Padukone has stepped into the big league in tinsel town. 'I have no heartfelt desire to work with SRK’: Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor maintains he never said he was desperate to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, but admitted he would love to work with the superstar if a good project came his way. “I had no such dil ki tamanna (heartfelt desire) to work with Shah Rukh sir. But I respect him a lot. I am a big fan of him,” Ranbir told reporters on the margins of the HT Leadership Summit here Friday. The 28-year-old, who was here with his father, evergreen star Rishi Kapoor, says a superstar’s presence in a project isn’t reason enough for him to accept it. “It’s not that if a superstar will be there in a film, I’ll agree to do it. But if I like a film, I like its script, I would be more than glad to do it,” he added. Nevertheless, Ranbir enjoys the attention he gets from the youth.
