Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar - The Garam Jodi

Aishwarya Rai, Akshay Kumar - Bollywood-News.IN
Bollywood Director Vipul Shah certainly has a dream cast for his next film Action Replayy. Not only does he have the Hot Akshay Kumar, but starring opposite him is the Bollywood Gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Though not much is known about the story of the film, it is rumored that it is a film about traveling back in time and is based on a Gujuarti play of the same name. We will all have to wait and watch to see what the story will be, but recently the director talked a bit about the film.

Apparently both Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar will have several looks in the film. In fact, Aishwarya Rai has over 125 Costumes. Shah told Mid-Day, "It's a script requirement. That's how her character is etched out. She is simply a person who loves to wear clothes and keeps shopping all the time. I had no clue that the number of costumes had extended to such a number that the girl who was managing her costumes kept coming to me for more and more space to keep them. That's when I realised that the number had gone so high."

He was nothing but praise for Aishwarya Rai, saying to IANS that she looked gorgeous in every avatar, especially the retro look: "She looks gorgeous in every look but no one has seen her in retro look. It's fantastic to see her in the new light."

He added, "Action Replayy is going to show a new side of Aishwarya. She is playing a character which has lot of humour in it, something she has probably not done very often."

About costumes it seems Akshay Kumar is not quite as happy with all the looks he has to don for the role. In an interview for TOI, Vipul revealed, "Akshay, however, is cribbing about the wigs and make-up he has to put on... but he'll do anything for a film and his role. I've got a dream team, really!"

Vipul Shah is surprised that no one has thought to cast them before and he just had one thing to say about the chemistry of the pair on screen, "Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar are going to be The Garam Jodi of Bollywood and the flavour of many filmmakers if their chemistry in Action Replayy is anything to go by."

Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini

Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini In Dil Bole Hadippa Believe it or not, but the whole ‘bikini top ‘n’ skimpy shorts’ avatar in short — flaunting Rani Mukerji’s hot new bod wasn’t her idea. Not even the producer or director had anything to do with it. After she realised how much she had toned up (to play a male cricketer in Dil Bole Hadippa!), Rani just happened to discuss this idea with her designer friend Manish Malhotra. And from there on it was Manish’s game plan, after all, he’s transformed many a Bollywood girl in to glam queens. He suggested that it would be a pity to waste such a well-toned body by not showing it off. That’s how the idea of a special song was born. And is she looking hot? Talk about her ‘shapely’ success, and Rani says, “Believe me, I didn’t starve at all. I love my food, especially rice and sweets. There was no way I was giving up all that. So, I just worked out harder and was occasionally allowed my ‘cheat’ meals of rice, sweets, etc.

Bollywood: John Abraham’s Slum Connection

Bollywood New Movie Slumdog Millionaire has definitely made the slums of Mumbai a little popular. Perhaps this is why they are so welcoming to every director who wants to make a film on their lifestyle. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
