Jaane Tu Jaane Na’ fame Bollywood actress, Genelia D’Souza is all smiles, thanks to Fastrack which has roped in the lady to endorse their brand.

The Bollywood actress recently shot a commercial for the fashion gear brand in Australia where she was already shooting for her upcoming Telegu movie.

The photo shoot for the advertising campaign was undertaken by Suresh Natrajan who also clicked photos of the actress for Perk and Garnier ad campaigns.

Genelia D’Souza announced the news publicly through her twitter account where she wrote, “Hey tweeps... yup I am officially The New Brand Ambassador of Fastrack... just done with shoot and it was fantastic…”

Other brands endorsed by Genelia D’Souza include LG Mobiles, Fanta, Spinz Deodrants, Cadbury Perk, Virgin Mobile and Garnier.

If reports are to be believed, Genelia D’Souza was welcomed with a lot of bonhomie on the sets of her latest Telegu venture titled ‘Orange’ being shot in Australia.

So much so that the Australian Minister for Education dropped by the shooting location and told her that her movie was the biggest movie to be shot in Australia till now.

The two also exchanged opinions on the ongoing racial attacks on Indian students studying abroad and Genelia got invited for lunch at the Parliament house, which however, she was unable to attend.

The new campaign for Fanta
This summer, Coca-Cola India is launching a new advertising campaign for brand Fanta.

The Latest Enterprise Featuring Fanta Brand Ambassador Genelia D'Souza supports the theme ‘Dikhao Apne Asli Rang’ and the actress will be portrayed in a mischievous avatar depicting the present generation’s attitude.

Srinivas Murthy, Marketing Director - Flavors, Coca-Cola India says, “Brand Fanta is known for its distinct 'Orangy' taste and for providing fun-filled, exuberant experience to all its consumers.”

“The latest Fanta campaign showcases how a bottle of Fanta brings out the playfulness in oneself and converts a tricky situation into magical exuberance, letting one to spread fun amongst everyone around,” he goes on.

Genelia D’Souza surely is the Bollywood buzz of advertising world right now.

Shahid Kapoor may be shoot in Pakistan

In exciting news for his Pakistani fans, Bollywood Chocolaty Actor Shahid Kapoor could be shooting in Pakistan for a Mira Nair film, Aaj TV channel reported. According to some source, noted Indian film director Mira Nair is planning to make a movie based on Pakistani writer Mohsin Hamid's second novel 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist'. The yet-to-be-named film is expected to be shot in Pakistan. But it is not yet clear whether the necessary permissions have been sought for this purpose. The interior ministry and foreign ministry on both sides of the border have to be involved if any such project has to go ahead , the TV channel said quoting unnamed sources. Shahid Kapoor, the channel reported, has not signed the contract yet but has shown interest in reading the script and is also excited about working with US-based Mira Nair, who has won critical acclaim for her off-beat films.
