Salman Khan supported SRK ?

Salman Khan Photos
One positive side to the recent battle between Shahrukh Khan and the Shiv Sena it has to Salman Khan coming out in full support of Shahrukh Khan. Bollywood Rock Star Salman Khan who is Shahrukh Khan's friend turned foe had defended Shahrukh Khan in his support for the Pakistani players in the IPL and stated that Shahrukh Khan owed no apology to Shiv Sena. This after the right-wing political party had asked Shahrukh to apologise after he raised his voice in support of the Pakistani players.

This support would have surely come as a surprise to Shahrukh Khan as many in the Bollywood film industry did not support him for the fear of the Shiv Sena who resort to violence at the smallest of provocations. Salman appealed to the politicians to keep entertainment and sports away from politics. This after the Shiv Sena tore down posters of Shahrukh's My Name Is Khan and had threatened the theatre owners against screening of the movie.

The reason Salman Khan supported Shahrukh may be more than having rediscovered the lost love for his once close friend. The two Khans who have not been in talking terms since Katrina Kaif's birthday bash in 2008 seems to be moving closer towards a mutual and dignified truce. The two stars where spotted at the premiere of the movie 3 Idiots. It seemed that ages had past since the last time Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan were under the same roof.

Salman Khan also seems to be concious in ever remark he makes relating to Shahrukh. Last year when Shahrukh was detained at the Newark International Airport, Salman Khan had spoken his mind supporting what the US security agencies had done. Although many celebrities had made similar remarks after there was a huge hue and cry over Shahrukh Khan's detention, Salman's comments had raised many eyebrows due to the strained relationship between the two stars.

Salman Khan who is finding it tough to maintain his status in the industry with no blockbuster for more than three years finds it difficult to be at war with Shahrukh. With his latest movie Veer having seen average response at the Box Office Salman feels he doesn't need Shahrukh Khan's enmity if not his support to make his relationship better in the industry.

There is a famous quote which says “In prosperity, our friends know us; in adversity, we know our friends” Hopefully the recent Sena versus Shahrukh Khan battle will yield some positive results and the two warring Khans will become friends again. Salman Khan has extended his hand of friendship when Shahrukh Khan needs it the most. It remains to be seen how Shahrukh Khan replies to this gesture With Salman.

Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini

Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini In Dil Bole Hadippa Believe it or not, but the whole ‘bikini top ‘n’ skimpy shorts’ avatar in short — flaunting Rani Mukerji’s hot new bod wasn’t her idea. Not even the producer or director had anything to do with it. After she realised how much she had toned up (to play a male cricketer in Dil Bole Hadippa!), Rani just happened to discuss this idea with her designer friend Manish Malhotra. And from there on it was Manish’s game plan, after all, he’s transformed many a Bollywood girl in to glam queens. He suggested that it would be a pity to waste such a well-toned body by not showing it off. That’s how the idea of a special song was born. And is she looking hot? Talk about her ‘shapely’ success, and Rani says, “Believe me, I didn’t starve at all. I love my food, especially rice and sweets. There was no way I was giving up all that. So, I just worked out harder and was occasionally allowed my ‘cheat’ meals of rice, sweets, etc.

Bollywood: John Abraham’s Slum Connection

Bollywood New Movie Slumdog Millionaire has definitely made the slums of Mumbai a little popular. Perhaps this is why they are so welcoming to every director who wants to make a film on their lifestyle. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
