Bollywood year 2010 opened a new chapter for Junior B as he made his television debut with National Bingo Night. While most people were speculating possibilities of him not faring too well, Abhishek Bachchan proved them wrong by surapassing all other Bollywood biggies in terms of debut TRPs.

According to a website, Abhishek Bachchan has got the distinction of being the best host from Bollywood. Junior B, who hosts a show on Colors, is on a high as he has got huge prominence on the small screen. He surpassed Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and even his father Amitabh Bachchan by acheivng a TRP of 5.1 per cent.

The website states, his second episode has not fared as well as the first one but yet he has been unrivaled by his counterparts, who have tread the televsion path earlier.

Abhishek Bachchan and Big B are both elated by Abhishek Bachchan's televiosn success. Abhishek Bachchan told a website, "It is a great feeling. The show has opened well and the marketing plans have worked. But I don't want to rejoice much because we have just begun and we do have to stand the test of time."

Shahid Kapoor may be shoot in Pakistan

In exciting news for his Pakistani fans, Bollywood Chocolaty Actor Shahid Kapoor could be shooting in Pakistan for a Mira Nair film, Aaj TV channel reported. According to some source, noted Indian film director Mira Nair is planning to make a movie based on Pakistani writer Mohsin Hamid's second novel 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist'. The yet-to-be-named film is expected to be shot in Pakistan. But it is not yet clear whether the necessary permissions have been sought for this purpose. The interior ministry and foreign ministry on both sides of the border have to be involved if any such project has to go ahead , the TV channel said quoting unnamed sources. Shahid Kapoor, the channel reported, has not signed the contract yet but has shown interest in reading the script and is also excited about working with US-based Mira Nair, who has won critical acclaim for her off-beat films.
