Tusshar Kapoor collapsed due to exhaustion and a poor diet last week. Though he is on road to recovery, he's still weak.

The actor says, "I have been advised bed rest but I intend to do a bit of dubbing for Run Bhola Run. This is the first time that I have fallen so ill. It's because of my low-carb diet. I was pushing my body to the limit."

Tusshar says he was on a diet to build a lean body for a photo shoot as he had to give body shots. "I was supposed to do it last month but the shoot kept getting postponed." He adds, "Though I have been on a similar diet before it has never been for so long. Moreover, I was playing squash too."

Tusshar did the photo shoot last Wednesday and went for dubbing later. The next day he collapsed. "I was down with a fever and cold and was also dehydrated.

I was so weak that I couldn't get up from my bed till I was given medication. The doctor advised rest and said that this was the result of over-exertion and the loss of immunity. I was not even able to life my body or head."

Now Tusshar has changed his diet. "I have lots of bagel sandwiches, Mughlai and tandoori food. I am allowed to binge once in a week. I haven't started working out but I plan to begin next week."

The diet that made him crash
Breakfast: Muesli, dry fruits and nuts.
Lunch: Grilled chicken or chicken dish without oil and some vegetables.
Evening: Egg whites
Dinner: Chicken and vegetables
No rice, chappatis or any sweets. Protein shakes throughout the day
