Hrithik Roshan focusing on 'Kites,' not IPL

In fact he will not be a part of IPL at all this year because he is busy completing shooting for Kites.

"We were all surprised when we heard recent media reports of Hrithik being a part of the Rajasthan Royal's video or its promotion, the news is absolutely untrue. He has been busy shooting for his home production 'Kites' which still has one short schedule pending and has hence excused himself from all IPL promotions this year." clarifies his spokesperson from Caving Dreams.

Last year Hrithik shook his leg in the Mumbai India team's video Duniya Hila Denge. Unfortunately the team did not even make it to the semifinals.

Shilpa Shetty and her beau hold stake in the Rajasthan Royals and she will be seen in the promotional dance video for the team.

After completing his home production, Kites, Hrithik is all set to begin filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Next with co-star Aishwarya Rai. This will be his first film with Bhansali and third with Aishwarya, following Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar.

Perhaps this is why they are so welcoming to every director who wants to make a film on their lifestyle. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
