Aamir Khan walks On the ramp for Van Huesen ‘Ghajini’ collection

Aamir Khan has been dressed by designers Van Heusen in the film Ghajini. Now, as part of promoting the film the apparel major has launched the Ghajini collection in the market with a fashion show and Aamir himself walking the ramp. The ‘Ghajini collection’ of clothing line has been influenced by the film and will be for today’s confident and ultra cool young males.

The Ghajini line translates the style statement of the character played by the iconic actor who is disciplined, self-made, educated, well travelled and fashion conscious. Says Mr. Shital Mehta, COO, Van Heusen, “We are proud to partner with Ghajini and style none other than the lead actor, Aamir Khan. The character he plays in the film embodies the values of Van Heusen as a brand, and makes a statement of power so unique, that we didn’t think twice before associating our brand with this movie.”

Ghajini will feature shirts, trousers, ties, suits, blazers, cuff links from Van Heusen. And, for the first time, the waistcoat stops playing second fiddle to the jacket, and finds its own place under the spotlight.

Ghajini is scheduled for release on December 25 and the promos of Ghajini are already a big hit with the audience.

Bollywood’s next big jodi – Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone!

Bollywood’s most gorgeous debutante of 2007 will be seen pairing with Akshay Kumar in 2008. With her first film – Om Shanti Om – Deepika Padukone has stepped into the big league in tinsel town. 'I have no heartfelt desire to work with SRK’: Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor maintains he never said he was desperate to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, but admitted he would love to work with the superstar if a good project came his way. “I had no such dil ki tamanna (heartfelt desire) to work with Shah Rukh sir. But I respect him a lot. I am a big fan of him,” Ranbir told reporters on the margins of the HT Leadership Summit here Friday. The 28-year-old, who was here with his father, evergreen star Rishi Kapoor, says a superstar’s presence in a project isn’t reason enough for him to accept it. “It’s not that if a superstar will be there in a film, I’ll agree to do it. But if I like a film, I like its script, I would be more than glad to do it,” he added. Nevertheless, Ranbir enjoys the attention he gets from the youth.
