King Khan Becomes Property Builder in UAE

SRK, the bollywood king, is trying his hands in property development in UAE. His first Project is called Shah Rukh Khan's Boulevard and is situated on the island of Al Dana in Ras AL Khaimah. The island covers an area of 1700 sq km and is among the seven Emirates that form the UAE along the border of Oman. The development will consist of one and two bedroom apartments, designed by well-known architect Toni Ashai.

The announcement of the project is going to be made at the real estate expo City Scape [in Dubai] to be held from October 6 to 9.

Although buyers have been invited to offer refundable 'expression Of Interest' cheques, the sales will begin till after the official launch by King Khan on 20 October, before his show "Temptation Reloaded" in Dubai.

This is not the first time SRK is dealing in property in the UAE. He owns a Palatial house on the Posh Palm Jumeirah manmade island off the coast of Dubai .But this is the first time any bollywood actor is keenly developing property in the UAE.

'I have no heartfelt desire to work with SRK’: Ranbir Kapoor

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor maintains he never said he was desperate to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, but admitted he would love to work with the superstar if a good project came his way. “I had no such dil ki tamanna (heartfelt desire) to work with Shah Rukh sir. But I respect him a lot. I am a big fan of him,” Ranbir told reporters on the margins of the HT Leadership Summit here Friday. The 28-year-old, who was here with his father, evergreen star Rishi Kapoor, says a superstar’s presence in a project isn’t reason enough for him to accept it. “It’s not that if a superstar will be there in a film, I’ll agree to do it. But if I like a film, I like its script, I would be more than glad to do it,” he added. Nevertheless, Ranbir enjoys the attention he gets from the youth.
