Salman Khan is at it again. Recently, he scrapped the promos of his upcoming film God Tussi Great Ho. Why? Well, he didn’t like them.
A source said, “Very few people know the real reason why the promos were withdrawn or why Salman was displeased with them.” New promos have been cut. Said a spokesperson for Eros International, “The new promos of the film will be going on air from Wednesday.”
Director Rumy Jaffrey however denied rumours about Sallu being the reason for the change. He said, “Salman Khan is the last person to interfere with the director’s work. The promos that we ran last week were meant to give a feel of the film. We plan to start our new promotion very shortly, which will also include the music of the film.”
God Tussi Great Ho which has been in the making for three years was delayed due to a various reasons. First, Salman was arrested in the blackbuck case after which the dates of the main actors including Sallu, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra did not match.
Jaffrey also denied that the film is a remake of Jim Carrey starrer Bruce Almighty. He said, “Just because Amitabh Bachchan’s in the role of the Almighty is dressed in a white suit, it doesn’t mean that the film is a copy of Bruce Almighty. One will know how different it is only after watching the film.”
Producer Afzal Khan too said, “The changing of the promos has got nothing to do with Salman. We had some technical issues and the promos will be on air again from Wednesday.”
