Salman-SRK face-off at Kat's b'day bash

It was the outcome of a shallow patch up which failed to work further between the two heavyweights of Bollywood, Salman and Shahrukh.

The Khans' egos came to fore at a wrong time-during the party thrown to celebrate the birthday of Salman Khan's girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

According to reports, the mêlée took place following the exchange of unsavoury remarks by the two over their professional and personal interests.

It was reported that the two Khans who were reportedly tipsy embarked on cracking jokes on one another. The encounter turned sour with Salman accusing the King Khan of becoming too much professional and an opportunist which was not taken well by the latter and Shahrukh took Sallu’s muscular challenge and offered to retaliate in the same capacity and very much in his den.

However, sensing trouble, another Khan, Aamir present at the party intervened and tried to preempt the ugly show of battered egos. King Khan left the scene immediately on Gauri Khan’s insistence.

Reports say that Salman was not happy with Shahrukh's negation to do a cameo in a film being produced by Salman and Sohail Khan and the matter was revived after Salman who was downed with few pegs took on Shahrukh which ensued in a verbal spat.

Perhaps this is why they are so welcoming to every director who wants to make a film on their lifestyle. John Abraham’s fortcoming film Hook Ya Crook is also one of those films shot in the Chikalwadi Chawl of Mumbai. This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
