Reigning deity of the Bollywood Katrina Kaif turns 24 today. When this Hong Kong born beauty stepped into Bollywood just five years ago no one gave her a chance. She will disappear within months, claimed a few critics.
The ones who did not pass such remarks still thought that a girl who couldn’t properly handle Hindi couldn’t survive the Indian film industry. But Katrina has proved everyone wrong.
Not only she continues to be in Bollywood, she has emerged as frontrunner for the number one slot in the Bollywood. Her dazzling beauty and great acting has earned him not only fame but loads of money as well.
She is one of the most sought after actress in the Indian film industry today and she charges as much as some leading Bollywood actors. But no one complains as she gives her best in whatever she does.
Katrina Kaif gave maximum number of hits in the year 2007. Namastey London, Apne, Partner and Welcome did fairly well last year. Race has also done good business at the box office this year too.
Katrina was born on July 16th 1983 in Hong Kong. Her father is a Kashmiri and her mother is English. They lived for a while in Hawaii and then moved to London. Katrina has seven other siblings and all sisters. Katrina started modeling when she was fourteen and her first shoot was for a jewellery brand. Katrina continued modeling in London and was approached by Kaizad Gustad for his film ‘Boom’; after which the model decided to move to Mumbai.
