`Professional` Shahid pulls an all-nighter!

Actor Shahid Kapoor has earned the tag of being a true "professional" after he shot a song for Kismat Konnection through the night after a full day's work.

Shahid, who stars opposite Vidya Balan in the forthcoming movie, worked into the wee hours of the morning to shoot for the song Ba khuda, said producer Ramesh Taurani.

"Shahid being the professional that he is volunteered to shoot the song in the night after we packed up our day's work. So the shooting of the video began at 12 in the night and went on till four in the morning."

"We shot for two days and completed it," Taurani said.

He added, "Getting Shahid's dates was a hassle because we were already shooting non-stop for another video in the film."

Directed by Aziz Mirza, Kismat Konnection is set for release on July 18.

Shahid Kapoor may be shoot in Pakistan

In exciting news for his Pakistani fans, Bollywood Chocolaty Actor Shahid Kapoor could be shooting in Pakistan for a Mira Nair film, Aaj TV channel reported. According to some source, noted Indian film director Mira Nair is planning to make a movie based on Pakistani writer Mohsin Hamid's second novel 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist'. The yet-to-be-named film is expected to be shot in Pakistan. But it is not yet clear whether the necessary permissions have been sought for this purpose. The interior ministry and foreign ministry on both sides of the border have to be involved if any such project has to go ahead , the TV channel said quoting unnamed sources. Shahid Kapoor, the channel reported, has not signed the contract yet but has shown interest in reading the script and is also excited about working with US-based Mira Nair, who has won critical acclaim for her off-beat films.
