Bollywood: Please don't blog

Blogging is just a baby in India, with people learning to show their true personality to those who matter the most, be it friends, family or colleagues.

What evolved as a means to communicate with fellow net surfers has been given a new definition by Bollywood. From Amitabh Bachchan to Amir Khan to Ram Gopal Verma to Tom Dick and Harry, everybody is expressing their opinions through blogs.

Whatever is in the blog is national news be it Amitabh Bachchan's criticism of other game shows or Amir Khan calling his dog Shah Rukh.

Looks like they are completely fascinated with this latest sensation of personal writing as they rightly get the response they might have expected.

The current trend indicates that the list of Bollywood bloggers might go up soon.

Blogs are seen as a means to express opinion and not to take it as an opportunity to bring down others. It's absolutely fine as long as the content is of national, social or human interest. But here dirty linen is being washed in public and the whole purpose of blogging is getting lost.

The common man doesn't need to know all the personal comments made in somebody's personal blog.

Last heard, even Karan Johar wanted to blog, but hey we have already had enough of self-praises!

It would be good if the space and paper meant for such news were properly utilized. Because we have a lot more things to take care of, than just knowing with whom Amitabh Bachchan is upset with. We would like to know how could blogging help India anyhow.

Celebrities - go out and do something worthwhile. India needs more of development news, so that people become aware of how hard a life people of rural India live in. It would also be better to have some news related to education of the youth, which forms a major chunk of the society.

Wouldn't we all like it if more news space is given to development news or educational news?

Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini In Dil Bole Hadippa Believe it or not, but the whole ‘bikini top ‘n’ skimpy shorts’ avatar in short — flaunting Rani Mukerji’s hot new bod wasn’t her idea. Not even the producer or director had anything to do with it. After she realised how much she had toned up (to play a male cricketer in Dil Bole Hadippa!), Rani just happened to discuss this idea with her designer friend Manish Malhotra. And from there on it was Manish’s game plan, after all, he’s transformed many a Bollywood girl in to glam queens. He suggested that it would be a pity to waste such a well-toned body by not showing it off. That’s how the idea of a special song was born. And is she looking hot? Talk about her ‘shapely’ success, and Rani says, “Believe me, I didn’t starve at all. I love my food, especially rice and sweets. There was no way I was giving up all that. So, I just worked out harder and was occasionally allowed my ‘cheat’ meals of rice, sweets, etc. ...
