Shah Rukh Khan smiles at Aamir's jibe


Aamir Khan has shocked many movie buffs by making a tasteless jibe at Shah Rukh Khan in his latest blog.

Everyone knows by know that Aamir has written on his latest blog that he has a dog named Shahrukh who licks his feet. The jibe, though tongue-in-cheek, is written in such a covert tone that it not just makes a mockery of SRK, but also insults the superstar.

 The blog has left fans of SRK angry. It has also disappointed many Aamir Khan fans, who think their idol has belittled himself by such distasteful remarks on an industry colleague.

But one man who is taking the potshot in his own stride is Shah Rukh Khan.

Senior scribe Subhash K Jha quotes SRK as responding to Aamir’s blog: “Earlier, people named their children after famous people. Somebody naming a dog after a known person is a new beginning in that direction. I don’t have a copyright over my name if used non-commercially.”

Well, not for nothing is SRK called the King Khan.

The verbal volleys between the two stars have been going on for some time. Earlier, Aamir had declared to reporters at a public event that he is no. 1 in Bollywood and SRK likes to come second. In response SRK had admitted being number two to Aamir.

But Aamir’s latest blog entry goes beyond banter. It is intended to be humourous, but ends up insulting SRK.
