Salman Khan who plays a rugged police officer in Boney Kapoor’s Wanted Dead Or Alive had to shed weight to get the much-in-demand six-packs for a climax scene. Wanted Dead Or Alive is a Hindi remake of Prabhudeva’s Pokkiri A source close to the actor says “Salman has a near perfect body but when the director Prabhu Deva, suggested him to get a six pack abs for a specific climax scene, he decided to work hard towards it.”
It is believed that Salman managed to impress his director in just six weeks. “Salman is very dedicated towards workouts. In fact he gave up alcohol first to get into shape and worked hard in his gym to get the perfect six pack look as required for the scene.” adds the source.
Our source adds that director Prabhudava was extremely happy with the result. He appreciated Salman’s effort and shot the scene in which the actor goes shirtless and flaunts his six-pack. The shoot took place at Mumbai’s Mukesh Mills. Wanted Dead Or Alive also stars Ayesha Takia and Vinod Khanna in pivotal roles.
