Every day is `love day': Kunal Khemu

Kunal Khemu who made a serious mark of his acting in the film industry from his films Kalyug and the Traffic Signal, seems to have matured as an actor and as a human being. This was reflected the way he handled volleys of questions from the media persons and gave replies to their queries like a seasoned actor.

Kunal along with Rohit Jugraj was in the city in connection with the promotional campaign of his latest film Superstar. Incidently, his visit coincided with completion of two years of the Inox multiplex in Indore. Talking to media persons, Kunal talked on arrays of issues, some personal and some related to the film fraternity and society in general.

Talking about his upcoming film Superstar, Kunal said Superstar was his first `masala' movie incorporating action, romance, comedy and dance, etc. The story of the film portrays different kinds of relationship between a father and a son, Kunal said and hoped that film apart from providing wholesome entertainment to the audience, will also touch their emotional chord.

Replying to a query regarding his graduation from a child artiste to a solo actor in the film, the Superstar hero said that he first acted in a tv serial `Gul, Gulshan, Gulfam,' when he was just four-year-old. Thereafter, he acted in a series of film as a child artiste like `Hum hain rahi pyar ke', Raja Hindustanti, Jakhm, Bhai, Angare and Dushman Since then, my life has undergone a lot of changes and now I have grown up as an actor, Kunal said adding that as an actor he had just two-three years of experience but he was happy the way he had been accepted in the film industry.

I am happy the way I am getting works, taking into consideration the fact people in the film industry come and go for lack of work, Kunal said adding that from his journey as a child artiste to the main actor, he gave an intentional gap and refrained from acting an film. Had I continued to do that, even today I would have gained the reputation of a child actor, he said adding that before playing his second inning in the film industry, I worked in theatre for five years and my father Ravikishan and mother Jyoti encouraged me in the theatre and taught my the finer points of acting.

Talking about his next project, Kunal said he was doing a film `Dhundhte rah jaoge' pairing with Soha Ali Khan. When asked about his impression about the Valentine Day, like a matured actor Kunal said that love is something which cannot be restricted on any particular day. For me to love is a human nature. Everybody is in love and it may be between father and son, mother and son, brother and sister and so on. Those who celebrate Valentine Day, it is their choice but for me the expression of love his a continuous process.

Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini

Bollywood Actress Rani Mukherjee's sexy in her bikini In Dil Bole Hadippa Believe it or not, but the whole ‘bikini top ‘n’ skimpy shorts’ avatar in short — flaunting Rani Mukerji’s hot new bod wasn’t her idea. Not even the producer or director had anything to do with it. After she realised how much she had toned up (to play a male cricketer in Dil Bole Hadippa!), Rani just happened to discuss this idea with her designer friend Manish Malhotra. And from there on it was Manish’s game plan, after all, he’s transformed many a Bollywood girl in to glam queens. He suggested that it would be a pity to waste such a well-toned body by not showing it off. That’s how the idea of a special song was born. And is she looking hot? Talk about her ‘shapely’ success, and Rani says, “Believe me, I didn’t starve at all. I love my food, especially rice and sweets. There was no way I was giving up all that. So, I just worked out harder and was occasionally allowed my ‘cheat’ meals of rice, sweets, etc.

This film is directed by David Dhawan and John Abraham playes a cricketer who resides in the chawl. In a song John and Genelia D’Souza dance to a tapori-ish number with the typical tapori dance steps. The residents of the slum were delighted to see the stars around and cheered for the unit as they worked. John Abraham added to their delight by giving them autographs and taking pictures with them.
