Bollywood Actress Madhuri Dixit has finally been signed on for the film Satte Pe Satta remake, which is co-produced by Actor Sanjay Dutt. It’s been ages since the two have worked together and no one could have ever thought that Sanjay and Madhuri will share screen space again. Sanjay, who was very keen to have Aishwarya in the film, asked Madhuri to step in because director Soham Shah wanted her. While announcing the film, Soham is quoted as saying, “I was always keen on Madhuri playing Hema Malini’s role in my remake…Looks like someone up there was listening because Dhillin Mehta and Baba (Sanjay) who are co-producers sent Madhuri a message. I sent her the script and I was ecstatic when she agreed.” Now, the movie will go on floors soon. South Indian Actor Rajinikanth on Monday underwent a minor procedure at the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre, where the doctors removed the excess fluid that had accumulated in his lungs. "The fluid in his chest was pressing against the lungs, causing respiratory problems. We had to aspirate this fluid," a doctor treating him told our source. Rajnikanth was admitted to the hospital on Saturday with pneumonia, kidney and liver problems. He is being treated at a private ward on the seventh floor, where doctors gave him oxygen intermittently and pumped him with antibiotics to clear respiratory infections. "We are managing his kidney condition medically. At this point, we don't know if we would have to start him on dialysis. It is possible that his kidneys would start functioning normally after he comes out of the severe respiratory infection," a senior doctor said. Bollywood Actor, Sonu Sood, who was last seen in the block buster flick Dabangg, is now a part of the animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), India. Recently, the actor posed bare chest for a commercial for PETA. In the ad, he is seen donning just a pair of low waist jeans. Sonu, stated, “I really thank PETA for making me a part of their family. I think we should bring that kind of awareness to everyone that we have to do something for animals – become vegetarians and do good to this Earth.” The other bigwigs who are a part of PETA include Lara Dutta, Pamela Anderson, Shahid Kapoor, Sir Paul McCartney, R. Madhavan and Anil Kumble.
