Bollywood Hero Shah Rukh Khan has been denied permission to shoot the title song of his new television series Ghar Ki Baat Hai there. So Shahrukh Khan’s production house shot the song at Aksa beach instead. Bhavna Sresth, head,television of Shahrukh Khan’s production house said, “Mumbai and the Gateway of India go hand-in-hand. The three protagonists’ story is based on and around Mumbai. It’s the whole city thing that we wanted to capture. However, after the unfortunate 26/11 incident we could not shoot there. It is a sentimental thing. We too are a part of the city and understand that it was a serious issue.” Ghar Ki Baat Hai is a tribute to Yeh Jo Hai Jindagi , the famous comedy show of the 1980s, which was written by Sharad Joshi. The real life hero Shah Rukh Khan turned a reel life hero as he saved the lives two kids who were hit in a grenade attack in Srinagar by providing them free treatment. Shah Rukh Khan got to know about the orphans Mudassar 5 and Amina 3 from Dr Ali Irani of Nanavati hospital, promptly SRK donated Rs 50 laks for the kids ward, which was setup by him in the memory of his mother. Dr Ali, who treats children that are injured in disasters in J&K knew that the operation for the kids could be made free but there were many other expenses to cater also, “ So, I just spoke to Shah Rukh Khan.” Shah Rukh Khan also gave a visit to Mudassar and Amina and promised them a date with his kids once they are hale and hearty. Zubair a cousin of the kids says, “Amina keeps asking me if I have spoken with Shah Rukh Khan and when is he going to take her to meet his daughter. She also plans to invite Shah Rukh Khan ’s children Aryan and Suhana to Srinagar so that they can all play on houseboats.”
