2009 would bring us some interesting and fresh flicks. Rakesh Mehra, the superhit director of Rang De Basanti comes back with another film. Dilli 6 is written by mastermind Kamlesh Pandey who was the man behind the successful Rang De Basanti.
Dilli 6 is said to be the story of Rakesh Mehra’s own experience as a child when he used to stay in old Delhi. Its a story of an American-born Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan) who comes to Delhi with his granny (Waheeda Rehman). The film has multiple side tracks telling stories of different characters residing in the Chandni Chowk area of old Delhi. It highlights the mixed culture of the people who follow different religions.
The film is all set to release in February. Prior to that it will be screened at Dubai International Film Festival.
