Salman Khan to raise fund for Bihar flood relief

Bollywood star Salman Khan is likely to perform in a charity show next month to help the victims of Bihar floods. It will be organised by Wizcraft Event Management Company at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.

According to Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam, who incidentally has his roots in Bihar Salman has agreed to be a part of this show. The money collected from the concert will be donated to the flood victims of Bihar.

Nirupam’s annoucement came at a Press conference organised by Bihari Cine Artists, under the banner of Punarwaas Flood Relief Mission, an organisation to help the flood victims of Bihar. The organisers also said that they will hold a rally in Mumbai on Sunday next to support the cause of the flood victims of Bihar.

Among those who attended the Press conference were Shatrughan Sinha, Manoj Bajpai, Udit Narayan (he originally hails from flood devastated Supaul), Neetu Chandra, Shekhar Suman (originally from Patna) and director Prakash Jha.

Bollywood’s next big jodi – Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone!

Bollywood’s most gorgeous debutante of 2007 will be seen pairing with Akshay Kumar in 2008. With her first film – Om Shanti Om – Deepika Padukone has stepped into the big league in tinsel town. After Shah Rukh Khan , she is set to pair with Akshay Kumar in director Nikhil Advani’s next film Chandni Chowk to China (previously titled Made In China .
