SINGH IS KINNG enjoys 2 month promotion

With big power come bigger responsibilities!

This must be apt for SINGH IS KINNG which is fast turning out to be THE big film arriving at the beginning of the second half of the year. With the film being sold for unheard of prices all over and an unanticipated frenzy in the international territories that have been hitherto unexplored, SINGH IS KINNG has a lot riding on it.

Looking at the gargantuan expectations that this Akshay Kumar - Katrina Kaif film is carrying, its makers have decided to embark on an extensive promotional drive. Though the film is slated for a 8th August release, the promotion for SINGH IS KINNG would begin 2 months in advance with the first television promo being out on 6th June.

Confirms a source associated with the film, "We can't even think of going with anything less than a 2 month promotional campaign here. Ours is indeed a big film and it is but obvious that the awareness suits the kind of stature SINGH IS KINNG carries. We have an entire planning in place where we would be unleashing a new song on the music channels on a regular basis."

Incidentally SING IS KINNG is the only release planned for 8th August while a week later YRF's BACHNA AE HASEENO arrives.

Produced by Vipul Shah and directed by Anees Bazmee, SINGH IS KINNG is touted to be Akshay Kumar's biggest film till date. With music by Pritam, SINGH IS KINNG is a multi starrer which also includes Neha Dhupia, Ranvir Shorey, Javed Jaffrey, Sonu Sood, Om Puri, Sudhanshu Pandey and Kirron Kher in its cast.

So, I just worked out harder and was occasionally allowed my ‘cheat’ meals of rice, sweets, etc. ...

But I respect him a lot. I am a big fan of him,” Ranbir told reporters on the margins of the HT Leadership Summit here Friday. The 28-year-old, who was here with his father, evergreen star Rishi Kapoor, says a superstar’s presence in a project isn’t reason enough for him to accept it. “It’s not that if a superstar will be there in a film, I’ll agree to do it.
