Karan Johar's birthday party on Monday evening turned out to be an occasion for more than one grand reunion. KJo made sure that Abhishek and Kareena put aside their differences and became friends again. Following the thawing between Abhi and Bebo, the camaraderie between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor that evening didn't surprise anyone. To see them laughing, giggling, whispering and behaving like two long-lost sahelis was something that did bring a smile to all the invitees' faces and added that extra zing to Karan's glamour-gorged party. The highlight of the evening was Ash and Bebo taking to the dance floor. Finally, the long-standing cold war between the Bachchans and Kapoors that started when Abhi's relationship with Karisma's sister ended, came to an end. All ties had been severed between the Bachchans and Kapoors. It was reported that Abhishek refused films with Kareena, prompting the emotional girl to react angrily and defiantly. She publicly

The actors kept driving for a long time as they were required to give various takes, because the scene was being shot from several angles. However, the locals, who had no clue that a film shoot was on, started getting suspicious when they saw the two Indians driving around aimlessly. They wasted no time in calling the cops, who immediately came and started questioning Vivek and Saif.” Vivek and Saif told the policemen that they were actors from India and were shooting for a film. And this time winning Big B’s confirmation to do the project was a dream come true, he says. “To have him show that sort of confidence in me to handle such a delicate subject well was amazing,” gushes Vivek.

Amitabh Bachchan back in form

amitabh bachchan photo Years ago when Amitabh Bachchan was at his peak, the Angry Young Man would dub his films as early as six in the morning. Veterans in the industry will tell you how after the dubbing, Amitabh would leave for his 9 am shift. The hectic schedule he practiced for the longest time in his career came to a grinding halt after his hospitalisation. But if sources are to be believed, Big B has got back into the habit of visiting recording studios early in the morning and then resuming his shoots for the day. We are told that Amitabh Bachchan reports to BR Studios as early as seven in the morning and dubs for about an hour and a half for Aladin. The film has reportedly suffered quite a bit because of Bachchan's illness. And it seems the star does not want the makers to postpone the release any further. Kareena Kapoor : Find a nice girl Vivek

Vivek Oberoi, whose name is now being linked to sitar player Anoushka Shankar, says good friend Kareena Kapoor pesters him most to find a suitable match for himself and settle down soon. "The pressure (of getting married) is on, not only from my family but from even Bebo (Kareena's pet name)," Vivek, who will be seen with Kareena and Saif in Rensil D'Silva's untitled film, told IANS in an e-mail interview. "Every time we go out for dinner, she would shake her head and tell me - 'find a nice girl and settle down' and I would hide behind Saif to dodge the bullet. We had some great laughs," he said. Vivek's personal life has always been in the spotlight - from the time his engagement to long-standing girlfriend Gurpreet Gill broke off to the short but much-hyped relationship with former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai. But now the actor is single. He reasons his stag status by saying: "I'm single because I am waiting to find the girl who wil

Bipasha Basu got competition

Look who’s competing for the Leggy Lass Award. Bong beauty Bipasha Basu seems to have found competition in Priyanka Chopra. And both the actresses are having a ball showing off those lovely, long legs. While Bipasha has always been fond of the Indianised version of hot pants, Priyanka seems to have developed a liking for them recently. Bipasha made it her style statement with movies like Dhoom 2, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Aa Dekhen Zara. While Dostana struck a dosti between Priyanka and her hot pants. She carried on the look in the song that she shot with Shah Rukh Khan in Billu. Wonder if it’s just the summer or are these two ladies responsible for setting the mercury soaring!

Mr and Mrs Padmashri

Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar has a terrific sense of humour. On the sets of Vipul Shah’s Action Replay in Karjat, two days before he and his co-star in the film Aishwarya Rai Bachchan left for New Delhi to receive the Padmashri; Akki was heard joking with unit-members saying, “Please meet ‘Mr and Mrs Padmashri’ meaning Aishwarya and me.’’ Incidentally the actor also loves doing photo-shoots with Aishwarya; and those who saw their smashing chemistry on the BT cover-photograph recently also recalled, Akki and Ash shooting for some terrific poolside pictures at a bungalow in Madh Island when Ash was a green-horn and Akki wasn’t the big dude that he is now. Judging from the terrific screen chemistry that these two A-list actors share, Vipul Shah has a winner on hands already.

Aamir Khan plays ball!

If you thought Aamir khan loves sweating it out in the comfort of an plush gym under the watchful eye of his instructor... think again. We recently spotted the actor indulging in a game of football at the ground at St Stanislaus School in Bandra. He along with the local team were in middle of an interesting match late in the evening. The actor know as Mr Perfectionist seemed to be in a competitive mode. Don’t we know that Aamir believes in playing to win. Obviously people were keen to catch a glimpse of the actor. Though they did try and keep the crowds away when the game was on, Aamir readily signed autographs for fans who surrounded the actor. Now, we don’t know if the actor is a regular here, but he sure seemed to know his moves.

Farhan Akhtar : "In Kartik Calling Kartik, I'm totally out of character"

Farhan Akhtar's latest starrer Kartik Calling Kartik is turning out to be more fun than any of his previous starrers. Admits Farhan, "My earlier films were somehow connected with the entertainment industry, and therefore, they had a direct or indirect bearing on my life. But in Kartik Calling Kartik, I'm totally out of character. Also, in all my films so far, I play a troubled introvert. In Kartik..., I start off as an introvert and then become a totally flamboyant guy. It's fun." The fun element spilt over on the sets of Kartik Calling Kartik on Sunday when Farhan's co-star Deepika Padukone decided to end the controversy about how tall she is. Says Farhan, "So far, I presumed she was taller. I had even measured her height on my talk show 'Oye! It's Friday' and I was okay with the fact that she looked taller than me. I've absolutely no problem being shorter than my heroine." But, on Sunday, Deepika challenged the view. "She made
