Hrithik returns cheque to Adlabs

The buzz about the multi-crore deal that Hrithik had struck with Adlabs last year is that it's off! Hrithik wants to return the full amount to Adlabs. But the company is not willing to take a no for an answer. According to a source, "Hrithik has given the cheque back. But they aren't accepting it. In fact they've asked him to keep the money and they'll make just one film instead of three films for that whole amount with him at a date convenient to him." Hrithik won't comment on the status of his deal with Adlabs. All he says about star prices is, "The corporate companies are looking at the movie market expanding in the next 3-4 years. I agree many recent films haven't done well. But Om Shanti Om and Jodhaa-Akbar reaffirmed the industry's faith in big films. Jodhaa-Akbar was a period film and above three hours long with no commercial trappings. Theatres across India could've just four shows daily. And it's done

Hrithik Roshan of the south

After his six-pack in Desamuduru , Allu Arjun is getting ready to hit another sixer. The Telugu hero's score so far is five hits out of the five films he has done so far. Chiranjeevi's nephew, Arjun's Parugu releases on Thursday. "Normally I dress very bright and am loud. But in this movie I am wearing normal cheque shirts, its not loud or unnatural," said Allu Arjun. Arjun is fondly called the Hrithik Roshan of the south not only because of his six-pack but also because his dancing talent has put him in the big league so much so that most actresses are reportedly wary of shaking a leg with him. "I adore Hrithik Roshan myself. About the six-pack, no one has done it here so I happened to do it so. That's about it," said Allu Arjun. Arjun's Parugu is the fourth big offering from Chiranjeevi's family of actors in the last one year. And the megastar will be hoping Arjun hits the bull's eye better than others in the family.

IPL A Big Hit With The Big Stars

Flying daily through India's over-congested airports is a guaranteed recipe for countless delays. Fortunately this affords one the opportunity to engage in numerous chats with affable strangers. Aas everyone in India is a cricket expert and the action packed IPL is in full swing, there is in no shortage of subject matter for a good old cricket-focused chinwag with someone you have only known for a few moments. The best is when you are actually on a plane chatting to your neighbour about last night's big game, when the guy in the row in front turns around and joins in. This is usually enough for one or two more aficionados to add their opinion. If you're mad about cricket, there is no better country to be in than India. A few days ago I was waiting to board a delayed flight at the brand spanking new Rajiv Ghandi airport in Hyderabad. Actually it is 45 kilometres outside Hyderabad, a two-hour taxi ride from the cricket ground. I was waiting in the departure hall for a de

5 crores for 5th standard questions?

‘A prism has 9 edges- true or false.’ Pose this question to a school kid and you might get the answer in a second, but put it to a seasoned professional who has achieved the highest academic degree that this country can offer, a PhD and the answer might not come that fast. Adults do tend to complicate things and it is easy to miss the simple and the obvious. That’s what the latest game show on Star Plus is based on. Being hosted by none other than Shah Rukh Khan and titled Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Thez Hain which literally translated is, Are you smarter than a fifth grader? this show aims at exposing the inadequacy of the adult mind in answering what is otherwise child’s play. But all this also comes with a whopping prize amount of 5 crore rupees. 5 crores for answering questions straight out of primary school text books might look like a sitting duck waiting for someone to shoo it. But try telling that to the first contestant of the show. A doctorate holder, she had to be satisf

Shoaib cannot play in IPL: BCCI sources

Though the Pakistan Cricket Board has cleared Shoaib Akhtar to play in the Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders , the controversial fast bowler still cannot play in the Twenty20 League as per the Cricket Board's recent decision. "Unless he is cleared to play for Pakistan, he cannot play in the IPL. This was the decision taken by the special general body of the BCCI at Bangalore before the start of the Twenty20 event," informed BCCI sources in Mumbai on Wednesday. Akhtar's appeal against the five-year ban imposed by the PCB for indicipline was on Wednesday rejected by a three-member appeal tribunal which, however, said he was free to resume his career overseas. Farrukh Aftab, chairman of the appeal tribunal, has said that the temperamental pacer can play in the IPL promoted by the BCCI but cannot play for Pakistan internationally or nationally. Akhtar was bought for USD 425,000 (approx Rs 1.7 crore) by the Kolkata franchise team owned by Bollywood star

Akshay is a happy singh

After an ordinary weekend, Monday had a clear enough tale to tell for Tashan . The film's word of mouth has reached an abysmal low and this Yash Raj film now is under threat of coming close to the first week's collections of the likes of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom (for which the end box office outcome read a flop in the final run). Still, in spite of such unforeseen fate of the film, Akshay Kumar is smiling and continuing to keep 'happy'. How is that possible? Well, the name of the character that he plays in his forthcoming film is called - hold your breath - Happy Singh! Yes, that's true! In Anees Bazmee's Singh is Kinng which has an out and out Punjabi flavor to it, Akshay Kumar is known as Happy Singh while Sonu Sood is named Lucky Singh. It is a known fact that names like Happy Singh and Lucky Singh are pretty much in vogue in the state of Punjab and for a film like Singh is Kinng it is only justified to have two of its principal protagonists carrying the s

Hrithik is an ideal husband

Hrithik Roshan has put all his travelling plans on hold because Suzanne is pregnant with their second child. The baby is due any day now and the actor wants to be with his wife. "I'm just not stepping out of Mumbai for some time now. That's why I had to say no to the Zee awards. Right now I can't focus on any work that takes me outside Mumbai," says Hrithik. The award function was held Saturday in London. Hrithik is at the moment shooting for Zoya Akhtar's directorial debut "Luck By Chance" in Mumbai. The actor has a guest appearance in the film - a commitment he made long ago and is only too happy to fulfil since Zoya is not only a close friend of Farhan's sister but also the first female director Hrithik has worked with. "We've been shooting nights for the last few days. And I've one full song to do before I am done. That will keep me busy till the end of the week," said Hrithik who acted in Farhan's "Lakshya&qu

Randeep follows SRK and Hrithik

Randeep Hooda is on a career high these days. He has a long list of films to release this year. After SRK and Hrithik, now Randeep will be seen in a legendary character in Ketan Mehta’s Rang Rasiya where he portrays the character of painter Raja Ravi Verma. This is a film that the actor is banking heavily on. “Rang Rasiya is a period film in which I am playing Raja Ravi Verma – the legendary Indian painter.” says Randeep. He believes it is one of the best characters he has portrayed in films. Randeep feels preparation for any character is important before you portray it onscreen. So what was his preparation to play this legendary character? “I did prepare for this role. But the tragedy is I can’t paint like Raja Ravi Verma, so I dropped the idea”, he quips. Speaking about his director Ketan Mehta, Randeep says, “It was a great pleasure working with Ketan. He has extracted some really good aspects of me and especially as an actor I feel it’s very important for a fi

When cricketers got bitten by the acting bug

Bollywood is surely making its way felt in the world of cricket, what with top stars like SRK, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta and Juhi Chawla going all out to promote cricketing world’s latest extravaganza IPL. While the who’s who of Bollywood is now seen on the cricket field cheering their favorite teams, not so long ago, we even had a kind of role-reversal where some of our past and current cricketers tried their hand at acting. Ajay Jadeja: This good-looking cricketer had a good career going for him until he got embroiled in the match-fixing controversy along with Azharuddin, Manoj Prabhakar and some others. Making a comeback after that was always going to be a Herculean task and hence the flamboyant all-rounder decided to put his good looks to use and try his hand at acting. He debuted in Khel along side Sunil Shetty, Celina Jaitley and Sunny Deol. The movie sank without a trace and Ajay soon realised ki filmy hero banna har kisi ka khel nahin .

Akki beats SRK as music of Singh is Kinng has raked more than OSO…

Vipul Shah's Singh Is Kinng has highest ever music sale in more than a decade. Sources close to the production house reveal that the sales for a limited period of time have been for whopping Rs 13.5 crore. Says Sandeep Bharghava of Indian Films, "This is a landmark valuation and we are very proud to be associated with the biggest films of 2008 - Singh is Kinng and Ghajini. We are very sure the music will do very well". Indian Films, who own the worldwide rights of Singh is Kinng, have sold the music rights to Times Music. Says Adarsh Gupta of Times Music, "Having tasted humongous success with one of the biggest grosser of 2007 in the Hindi film category, Welcome, we are now signing on what is believed to be the biggest hit of 2008 with Singh is Kinng." Music industry has been going through a lot of turbulent times and had hit the slumber in revenues.

I wish SRK luck for Paanchvi Paas...: Big B

After SRK, is the Big B planning to return to the small screen? CNN-IBN’s Entertainment Editor Rajeev Masand finds out in this exclusive chat with Amitabh Bachchan. Rajeev Masand: You have a commitment with Star TV to do something with television. What is the nature of the shows that you are discussing? I ask this specifically because after Kaun Banega Crorepati the game show format seems a little redundant now. Amitabh Bachchan: This is exactly what I have been telling all the television channels who have approached me. There is a balance amount left over with Star TV and we are looking into how we can accommodate that. But yes, it is time to think of something new and normal. I have spoken to several channel heads and they are battling with new ideas but if nothing comes up then I will go back to the tried and tested formula of game shows or question-and-answer shows. Rajeev Masand: Shah Rukh Khan’s new show Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain is also a quiz show. It is perhaps fi

SRK 'waxed' in Paris

It's general knowledge that the English in India and other foreign countries is 'Same-Same but different'. In the sense, in India, we say 'Cat', whereas they say it's 'Kat'. Here we say, 'cheque', they say 'chek', so on and so forth! But there's one name to which not only India, but the whole of the Universe abides by and shall abide till eternity and that's 'Shah Rukh Khan'! The latest 'victim' of the SRK mania was Paris, a city which experienced a never-before mayhem. The reason? Well, SRK was in France for the unveiling of his wax statue at the Grevin Museum. His wife Gauri Khan and Karan Johar accompanied him. If you thought that SRK will be a stand-alone in the museum, better think again, coz' he has company from the likes of Marylyn Monroe, Michael Jackson and around 300 odd celebrities. SRK now becomes the third Indian at the museum, the first two being Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi. Is there anythin

Dhoni and Yuvi in SRK's Paanchvi Paas

The bonhomie that exits between Bollywood colleagues and also high profiles cricketers may once again come to the fore, this time on television . It is well known that Shahrukh Khan is the owner of Indian Premier League's Kolkata Knight Riders, still Preity Zinta, the owner of a rival team, King's XI Punjab, has already agreed to be a part of SRK's latest TV quiz show. Yes, Preity has already rehearsed for Shahrukh Khan's Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain, the show that had a cracker of a start last Friday. And if that is not enough, the captain of Preity Zinta's team, Yuvraj Singh and the captain of another rival team, Chennai's Super Kings, Mahendra Singh Dhoni are expected to follow suit. However, there is an 'if' (as in our headlines!) because that will happen only if the strenuous Indian Premier League schedule permits. Here's hoping that it does!

SRK is tireless!

Shah Rukh Khan If you think earning lots of moolah is the only thing on Shah Rukh Khan’s mind, think again. The actor who already has helped set up a pediatric ward at a city hospital now wants to set up a ward for cancer patients too. "I get embarrassed to talk about such things. The hospital people were kind enough to name the pediatric ward after my mother. I hope to set up a centre for cancer patients later this year," he reveals. But that’s not all, SRK even has plans to set up a hospital. "That’s my final dream. Though I don’t know when that will be possible. I keep telling my wife that I have to do this and she keeps telling me that I can do it only when I stop doing the other things," he says. But of course, there’s loads of work to be done too. Besides his role, that of a host in Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hai?, the actor is back at the studios doing what he does best acting ! His two films this y

I’m waiting for my a release!’

Sudhanshu Pandey How’s your role in Alibaug shaped up? The last schedule of the film is being planned. I’m really looking forward to finishing the film now as almost 70 per cent of it is complete. It’s a story of few friends who come together after a long time and I play one of them. It’s an emotional story with beautiful music and shot on some beautiful locations. Sanjay Gupta’s made sure everyone looks their best in the film. I’m happy with the way I’m looking. Performance-wise, it’s the audience who has to judge. Sanjay Dutt opted out of the film, did it affect the shooting in any way? I would be lying if I said it didn’t. The shooting was halted for a while. But all’s well that ends well, I guess. The show goes on. We’re all just hoping for the film to be completed soon as there’s lots of hard work gone in it. What are the other projects you’re working on? I just wrapped up my schedule for Singh is Kinng. There’s a good dose of both ac

Bollywood glams up cricket

IPL has rewritten the rules of the game with American-style cheerleaders and movie mavens doing a song-and-dance before every match. POLITICS and sports do not mix. Or should not mix. Right? How about sports and cinema? Well, sports and cinema have come together to serve up a heady cocktail for a cricket-crazy nation. Without the presence of leading film stars, it is doubtful if the on-going cricket razzmatazz that is the Indian Premier League would have grabbed Indians. So enduring is India’s love affair with cricket, that a relatively unknown television channel which successfully bid for the exclusive rights to what is easily the biggest sporting event in the history of this country has seen its viewership zoom sky high. Commercials during the match telecasts have helped the channel recover a good part of the huge fees it paid to win the telecast rights. IPL is also a huge success mainly due to its high off-field entertainment quotient. Mahendra Singh Dhoni dispatching South Af

Bollywood film legend Bachchan turns blogger

MUMBAI (AFP) — Indian film megastar Amitabh Bachchan has reached out to fans in cyberspace, launching a blog about his life which has triggered a flood of responses from around the world. "The Big B," as he is known to legions of film-lovers in movie-mad India, uses the site, blogs.bigadda.com, to share his thoughts, discuss upcoming movies and answer questions from fans. "Adda" in Hindi means a big get-together of friends. "The advantage of this blog is that I can express my view freely and there is no restriction to it," the 65-year-old movie legend told AFP. Bachchan, who launched the blog in mid-April, is following in the footsteps of other Bollywood stars such as Aamir Khan who also use the Internet to share their thoughts. The star -- whose latest film "Bhootnath," or "Devil Uncle" -- is slated for release next month, said he was not particularly Net-savvy but that friends had persuaded him to start writing. "It gives me a ch

Sit for exams of 'panchvi pass' this Friday

HOW MANY states are there in India? Who is the vice president of India? Which is the largest desert in the world? How many feet equals one meter? These are some questions, which will make many people scratch their heads. Many participants may not know the answers but will find excuses that they just do not remember or it just missed out of their minds. The best excuse most of the people may use, will be that they do not feel to answer such simple questions. The fact is that many will agree that they are not as smart as a fifth grade student. For all those people, it is time to go back to school and start studying all over again from the headmaster–Shah Rukh Khan. ’Kya aap panchvi pass se tez hain?’, is all set to start off from April 25 at 8pm on Star Plus. Khan had flagged off the ’Panchi class express’ on April 21 from Taj lands end, Bandra in Mumbai. The express will tour 25 cities around India to audition people who will be interested in

Hansika back to Bollywood

Hansika, who played heroine in 'Aap Ka Suroor', was selected as heroine for 'Desamuduru' opposite Allu Arjun. While 'Aap Ka Suroor', the debut film of Himesh Reshammiya as hero was a big hit, everyone started looking at this girl. Moreover, her Telugu film 'Desamuduru' was also proved a blockbuster. This had doubled her chances all over the world and she earned a lot of fan following too. However, she had sets her eyes only on Bollywood and did not accept any offer by any other Telugu producer. After a considerable gap, somehow she agreed to play in a Telugu film 'Kantri' at a huge remuneration. As the shooting of the film was completed, producers again started chasing her. But, this time, she is saying a firm no to all the offers as she had signed four Bollywood films on big banners.

"Akshay doesn't need luck" - Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor created a buzz on Sunday when he said he "owns DLF which is the main sponsor." Yesterday, he refused to wish Akshay Kumar luck for his Delhi Daredevils matches. We catch up with Anil for a chat on Indian Premier League (IPL), Akshay and the DLF 'connection'. What is your connection with DLF (the official sponsors of the IPL)? There is no connection. I was pulling a fast one on the media when they asked me if I would like to own a team too. I won't buy any team kyun ki mein sabka baap hoon! It was a joke as I was in a great frame of mind as the whole atmosphere was thrilling with the crowd cheering us. Just go with the ruling party (laughs). What do you think of the IPL? I think it's a very exciting prospect, one that holds a great future. But it's also hard work. One has to put one's heart and soul into it. I wish Shahrukh and Preity all the best! I have always been a cricket buff. But today, with the T20 matches, cricket has just got more

SRK grabs Akshay’s role

Priyan initially approached Akki for Billoo Barber; SRK heard the story and wanted to produce and act THENGA! Shah Rukh Khan The Akshay Kumar-Shah Rukh Khan rivalry appears to have just got hotter. SRK claims that Billoo Barber, his next home production, directed by Priyadarshan, was initially offered to Akshay but the Khiladi refused it. Everyone knows that Akshay is one of Priyan’s favourite actors so he was the first choice. But when Akki declined, SRK grabbed it. Shah Rukh admits, “Billoo Barber was offered to Akshay Kumar but he turned it down. Priyan was doing another film with me. Then he spoke to me about Billoo Barber and asked me if I would do the 10-day role in the film. I asked him to narrate the story. I told him that I would not only act in it but even produce it.” Malayalam remake The actor says he simply loved the script. “It’s a story based on Krishna and his friend Sudama. It’s a very sweet story. The thought is nice. But it’s not fair to call it a Shah Rukh Khan fi

Shahrukh tells everything about Billoo Barber

Shah Rukh Khan's home production Billoo Barber directed by Priyadarshan has constantly been in the news mainly for its changes in the cast. With too many speculations doing the rounds, the superstar decided to set the facts straight about Billoo Barber once and for all. According to SRK, the film is a sweet story of friendship which is quite similar to the bond shared between Krishna and Sudama. Irrfan Khan would be playing the title role of Billoo Barber while Shah Rukh would be seen in an important role in the film. Interestingly a lot of names including Juhi Chawla, Ameesha Patel and Tabu were considered for the part of Irrfan's wife but now it's finally Lara Dutta who has been finalized for that role. The film which is a remake of a Malayalam film focuses mainly on the life of Irrfan Khan, his wife (Lara) and their two kids. The other cast members apart from Irrfan Khan, SRK and Lara Dutta include Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani. Khan also added that apart from the main

Salman Khan gears up for Dus ka Dum

NO ONE seems to be spared by the TV bug. After Big B in Kaun Banega Crorepati and Shahrukh in Paanchvi Pass , the latest to have been bitten by this bug is Salman Khan alias Sallu who will be hosting a show named Dus ka Dum-Ab India Sochega Percentage Mein . With Shahrukh Khan’s Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain already getting a tremendous response from the viewers, it seems a war may brew up between the six-pack-abs-Khan and the shirtless-Khan. Dus ka Dum will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television (SET) with the controversial Khan playing the host. He has vowed to make people super rich as the prize amount to be given out is claimed to be Rs 10 crores. The concept of Dus ka Dum is very simple. The contestants will have to ’think’ like India. A question would be asked, the answer to which would be the average percentage of a mass opinion poll conducted across India. If the contestants guess the c

Knight riders are the best: Shahrukh King

This was said by owner Shah Rukh Khan after his team’s magnificent victory. They won over Deccan Chargers at the Eden Gardens. The team had undergone much tumultuous conditions, which included the ban on one of his star players- speed star Shoaib Akthar as well as the low turn out of ticket buyers before the start of the league. However now the good form of his team is giving the proud owner much relief and relaxation. Shah Rukh in fact is living real life his character of the super coach in the super hit ‘Chak De India’ in which he guided the Indian women’s Hockey team to be the winners of the World championship. “ I have the obsession to be the winner every time and that has given me the strength to take the huge risks till now,” Khan said. In fact the boys in the Knight Riders also have got really inspired from the energy and enthusiasm that the owner of their team has showed till now. Source-newsline365.com

Tashan: Movie Review

The most awaited movie of 2008 is here: Tashan . The movie has an impressive starcast: Akshay Kumar , Kareena Kapoor , Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor . It promised oodles of ishtyle and substance. But the story stops there. The storyline, or the lack of it makes it another Yashraj film on the Box Office . Though the second half is slightly better, it is by no means a reprise from the torture.  Some of the dialogues are just average, some are not even there. Anil Kapoor’s urge to speak Hinglish is gripping initially, but then it becomes irritating. Akshay Kumar is good as Bachchan Pandey, just that his stunts could have been better filmed.  The script has abrupt stops for songs and it just breaks the rhythm, if at all any. Dil Haara and Chaliya are excusable, rest could have been avoided.     The director has not done justice to the piece of reels used. The placements of the scene is not very logical and the locations change absurdly. The fight sequences are average, but very

What do Hrithik and Abhishek have in common?

N ot all stars takes the glamour and glory of Bollywood for granted. Some are passionate enough to learn about the finer aspects of filmmaking before facing the camera. There is a hefty list of actors who previously worked as assistants or production-in-charge till stardom beckoned. We start with Bollywood's new kid Harman, son of filmmaker Harry Baweja. The handsome aspirant, often linked to co-star Priyanka Chopra and likened to Hrithik Roshan for his appearance, makes his big screen debut with the sci-fi caper, Love Story 2050 . Even before, however, he worked in the production team on his dad's productions like Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai and Karam .

But is it really cricket?

On a muggy afternoon last weekend, a spectator leapt off an upper tier stand during a cricket game in Eden Gardens stadium in the eastern Indian city of Calcutta. He survived the fall with broken bones. The middle-aged man did not fly off his seat because he was carried away by the game. He simply wanted to have a closer peek at Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who had turned up in the stands below to cheer a team that he owns in the new Indian Premier League cricket competition. The multi-million dollar competition has been hyped as one which will revolutionise the game with a fizzy cocktail of cricket, entertainment and celebrity shows. Starved So how do you serve up entertainment to embellish a game which is religion for millions of Indians? It's a fairly uncomplicated recipe. Young fans of the Kolkata Knightriders Take a large helping of Bollywood stars, saute it with some more Bollywood music, and then add whatever you can

Bollywood beauties bowled over by Dhoni

MUMBAI: Indian One-Day cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's performance on the pitch and his good looks have earned him a huge female fan following, among them a bevy of Bollywood actresses. Here's what they say: Bipasha Basu: Dhoni is great at his job and he is a good ambassador of our country. He is well groomed and I find him soft-spoken and charming. And I don't think he uses his popularity for the wrong reasons. Esha Deol: Yup, I'd say Dhoni is terrific and he conducts himself with plenty of dignity. Right now I think he's at his best - physically fit and raring to go. I'd say he is the best sportsman in our country today. Nandana Sen: Dhoni has great focus, speaks his mind freely. Although he is super-talented, he talks like a very regular guy. I find normalcy in superstars very attractive. Raima Sen : Cricketers have always been more popular than stars. I feel Dhoni's main charm lies in the fact that he has become the captain o

Is Hrithik Roshan a strict dad?

The one treat that Hrithik's little son looked forward to on his second birthday recently was …chocolate cake! Little Hrehaan isn't allowed that bit of culinary indulgence. Says the protective papa, "He can have all kinds of cake…except chocolate. I feel his body doesn't need it for the first few years.Actually you don't need chocolate at all at any stage of your life. It just displaces your hunger for proper food. That really bothers me. The moment a child has a chocolate he grows addicted. I allow Hrehaan to have all kinds of cakes. But not chocolate. As it is, from the time he has a life of his own with his friends he'll have all the access to chocolate.Believe me I know." So is Hrithik a strict dad? "Only as far as Hrehaan's diet is concerned. As a child I ate the wrong kind of food. In my later years I really had to clean myself up. It was really tough, and I don't want Hrehaan to go through it. So I'm conditioning him

Knee injury healed, Hrithik says he is ready to dance his ass off!

Having aced the action packed Godrej commercial now being aired on TV, and the promotional 'Krazzy 4' item number, Hrithik Roshan is confident that he has put the knee injury that plagued him for nearly two years behind him. Having aced the action packed Godrej commercial now being aired on TV, and the promotional Krazzy 4 item number, Hrithik Roshan is confident that he has put the knee injury, that plagued him for nearly two years, behind him. "Fortunately I've found a solution to my knee problem. It's all taken care of," Hrithik told IANS in an interview. Asked how he found the cure, Hrithik responded: "Well, I read a quote somewhere, 'If you seek well, you shall find'. I persevered and cured it. I just have to keep the maintenance part of that cure going on for a lifetime. Then I can continue dancing my ass off." Maybe he is getting a bit carried away? During the interview, Hrithik also revealed that Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chilli

Amitabh picks on Sinha in his blog

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in his blog has lashed out against Shatrughan Sinha's insinuations that the nominations list of the International Indian Film Academy awards were fixed. He says in the blog: 'A section of the print media carried comment from my colleague and friend and neighbour, Mr Shatrughan Sinha. It reportedly quoted his reactions to the nomination list of the IIFA Awards, wherein he has purportedly stated that ' Sab kissika beta hai, ya kissiki bahu, ya kissiki biwi ' , and the media adding there interpretation to it, stating that this was directed to a particular family of 'guru' fame. I believe what is being insinuated is that there is partiality or some 'fixing' in the choice of the nominations carried by IIFA. And as the report concluded, the indication was towards one family, not difficult to guess which one. I am surprised at this observation, especially since, during the time of the National Award selection for Best Actres

Movie Reviw: U, Me aur Hum

U, Me aur Hum (drama) Cast: Ajay Devgan, Kajol Direction: Ajay Devgan Critic rating: IT'S the season of sadness in Bollywood . Or else, why would two mainline actors choose to make their directorial debut with films that explore human relationships shadowed by the trauma of physical ailments. If Aamir Khan made the world cry with his sensitive tale of a dyslexic kid, then Ajay Devgan turns the spotlight on Alzheimers and its debilitating effect on love and life. And like Aamir, Ajay too weaves a plot that's high on EQ, making the Kleenex count high too. Truly, it's the unbridled emotional quotient of U, Me aur Hum which saves it from slipping into mediocrity. The sensitive second half not only makes up for the flaws in the first half, it also winds up the film as a poignant tribute to the institution of marriage, romance and soulmate-ship. The film opens predictably as a love-at-first-sight story on a cruise liner . Psychiatrist Ajay loses his heart to Kajol , the sassy w
